He opened it, revealing the necklace which made her gasp.
“Tell me this is the first gift you’ll be receiving from a guy” he said.
“Yeah… absolutely” she said, unable to hide her excitement as he went behind her and slid the necklace into her neck, hooking it.
“It’s beautiful” she purred, rubbing the pendant.
“Like you” he replied, coming back to the front.
“Thank you” she said, her cheeks reddening.
“And also…I have the elixir already” he said, bringing a vial out of his back pocket.
Inside the vial, there’s a small portion of Kontrol.
“I stole this from mother. We only have to use this on Slade, get the necessary information and kill him” he said.
“We can’t inject him so far his ring is intact ” she replied.
“There’s a plan. How many minutes can you spend underwater?” he asked.
“As long as possible with an oxygen mask” she replied.
“I have oxygen masks ready, let’s go” he pulled her out.
“Can we go visit my mama at the hospital first?” She asked.
“Sure, there’s enough time” he instantly replied.
They went to the park and both drove out of the castle in his car.

They arrived at Argentum hospital after thirty minutes, and Twilight led him to her mother’s ward.
The woman had just finished her early dinner which she was fed by the nurses.
The nurses left the ward, and Twilight sat beside her, supporting her back with a pillow.
“Meet my mama, her name is Owen” Twilight said, looking at Tamlin as she stroked Owen’s hair.
“Good evening, ma’am” Tamlin greeted respectfully, but the woman only gave him a lifeless gaze.
Her eyes are so dead, and she looks like a ghost with her scattered hair.
Twilight arranged the hair with her fingers before making her lay in bed.
“You have to get well soon, mama” she said with a small smile, stroking Owen’s face.
Owen suddenly grabbed her by the wrist, making her gasp.
“Mama!”
“Your father, your father is…
Before Owen could finish saying that line, Greg came in.
“Papa” Twilight stood.
“Why are you here and not in school?” Greg questioned.
“I came cos I missed her” Twilight replied as Greg took her place beside Owen.
Owen is back to her lifeless state right now.
“She’s fine, just go back to school” Greg replied.
“Sure, papa” she said, nodding at Tamlin. They left the ward together.
“Your father looked unfriendly” he said.
“He’s probably not in a good mood” she replied, and he nodded once.
“Shall we?” He said, taking her hand.
They returned to the park and drove out of the hospital, back to the university route.
Tamlin rode the car into a shrub, cutting through trees and figs till they arrived at a bridge.
Under the long bridge, there’s a big still river.
“This place is only three minutes drive from the university with good speed” Tamlin faced her
“And I’m jumping in?” She faced him.
“No. We’re going in together” he replied, bringing out the mini oxygen masks.
They both used it, and he took her hand.
At the count of three, they jumped into the river together.
