HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 61 – 70
“Papa!” Twilight pushed Tamlin back, staring at Greg in shock.
She has never seen him like this before.
“You think killing him makes things better? Do you even know who he is? Do you know the family he comes from?” Greg yelled.
“Stop being like this and tell me what’s going on already! You are my father, you can’t keep yelling at me!” She yelled back, the rainwater entering her mouth as she talked.
“Tell me the location you killed him at” Greg replied.
“Why? Why do you want to know?” Twilight said.
Greg didn’t say another word before stepping forward, grabbing her head.
“Fûck!!! Papa!” She groaned, and Tamlin quickly pushed Greg away from her.
“You stay away from her!” Tamlin sneered with a bleeding lip.
Greg left them on the road, running into a corner.
“Are you ok?” Twilight asked Tamlin, touching his bloody lip.
“I’m fine, but why did he touch your head and why did you scream, and why is his eyes like that?” He asked.
“I forgot to tell you he’s an herbal doctor, and grabbing my head like that means he already saw the location of Slade’s dead body in my memories” she replied.
“He’s not going to wake him, will he?” Tamlin asked.
“He doesn’t have that much power. I know my papa well” she replied, and he nodded.
“Let’s go”
They got back in his car.
HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 61 – 70
LUTHER’S ISLAND*
Grandpa Cedric is spending the night in the island tonight.
He’s drinking warm wine with Timothy at the royal-like dinning room over small chats
“I got a document from the school today about the monthly kidnaps. Turns out the kidnapped students are being used for a project” Timothy spoke.
“Project?” Grandpa Cedric’s forehead creased.
“Do you know the popular elixir called Kontrol? Sadly, the main ingredient for it is blood from the human tongue, so…” Timothy shrugged.
“How cruel can they get? So you’re telling me they kidnap students, take them to their lab somewhere and cut off their tongue?” Grandpa Cedric dropped his cup.
“The school needs our help, and I’m going to help so far my son is there” Timothy said.
A guard suddenly came in, stopping by the entrance.
“You have a visitor, and he’s insisting on seeing you” he reported.
“A visitor? This late?” Timothy stood.
“Greg, that’s his name” the guard replied.
“Greg?” Grandpa Cedric stood.
Together with Timothy, he left the dinning, rushing out to the front of the villa.
Truly, Greg is there, beaten by the rain cos he ran all the way here.
“Something happened to Slade without his ring” he announced.
“What!” Timothy and Grandpa Cedric chorused with wide eyes.
“I’m sorry, it’s my daughter’s fault, and i didn’t know till some minutes ago” Greg said breathlessly.
“Listen to me, witch doctor!” Timothy grabbed Greg tightly by his collar.
“If a strand of hair misses from his head, then I won’t only kill you and your daughter. I’ll kill your sick wife too and leave your bodies to rot!” He threatened.
“What’s the location?” A new voice asked, and Timothy slowly let go of Greg as they all turned back to see a lady.
Brown hair, armless top, snaky bracelet and ring, ambitious eyes, tight black trousers and tall heels despite her original tallness.
She’s Aimee, the girl among the triplets.
“The bad Salem road” Greg quickly replied, and she didn’t say another word before walking out.
She went to the park to get her car, driving herself roughly out of the island.
Despite the rain that’s still pouring heavily and the wet dark road, she drove flawlessly through the obstacles, riding on muddy waters and grinding the tyres on stones.
She was gritting her teeth as she drove, and her eyes didn’t blink till she arrived at the said road.
She left the car headlights on to serve as illumination as she looked around the vicinity, till she sighted the big pothole on the road.
She ran forward to it and saw him for real, but the mud has nearly swallowed him, and the water already covered his Head.
Just his lashes and shoe mouths are surfacing.
“Slade!” She called his name with her snatched accent, rushing towards him.
She had a hard time pulling him out of the water, but she did anyways.
When she saw the stab wounds on his body, she gritted her jaws again.
She dragged him to the better side of the road where she knelt beside him and took off her own ring.
