Before she knew it, he pulled her to the piano and made her stand in front of it while he stood behind her, bending to her level and whispering…
“Remember how you were crying and bleeding for me to stop that night? You’d do more than that the next time you go around that guy” he said.
She opened her mouth to talk, but she was obstructed by the snatching of the necklace from her neck.
Slade cut it off, and her eyes widened.
“Give that back!” She faced him quickly, but he already threw the necklace into the fireplace.
“No! No why would you throw it inside!!” She faced him with a yell.
“If I am to repay you for the twenty stabs, then killing you would be the only right way. Choosing a stupid brow rub and your absence from Tamlin’s life is me being generous, and if you take it for granted, I’ll really kill you” he muttered, and she gulped, stepped away from him.
“I understand, whatever” she muttered and started walking out of the attic.
She sighted Onyx the cat by the door.
She badly wants to carry it, but who knows if the personality is as bad as the owner, so she just walked past it and went downstairs.
She needs to visit her father and get proper explanation, and Slade was surely kidding when he told her to stay away from Tamlin.
She’s not planning to.

A WASHROOM*
Echo rubbed her toes on her ankles, and the phone felt hot in her hand from excessive typing.
She has been in here chatting with Ruslan for close to an hour, and it’s so interesting that she doesn’t even want to leave.
She was reluctant at first, but after he apologized for what he said to her the garden, she was ready to forgive him.
When her legs felt tired, she sat on the washroom ground and began replying the texts from there.
Ruslan: What do you want to name our first baby?
Echo: Why so sudden? You’ve not even touched me before.
Ruslan: I’m planning to do that soon so hurry up and choose a name
Echo: Ruby? Rose? Any name that starts with R like yours.
Ruslan: Cool.
She smiled and kissed her phone then proceeded to texting again.
Echo: So when I see you next time, I’m just supposed to ignore you?
Ruslan: I told you Tamlin will kill me if he finds out about our relationship, so please…
Echo: Fine, I’ll wait till whenever you’re ready.
Ruslan: I love you.
Echo: I love you too.
Immediately she sent that, Imogen and her cohorts entered the washroom, and she quickly stood from the ground.
She rushed out of the room, and they all bursted into laughter.
Imogen brought Ruslan’s phone out, and their laughter doubled
“She sat on the ground? That girl is finished” Posey said.
“Is she that daft? Is she not loved at home?” Ren added.
“Didn’t you read her file? Her mother is dead, and her father is married to another woman who maltreats her. She came to this school to escape the maltreatment, so yes, she’s not loved at home” Imogen said.
“Meaning we’ll have fun toying with her” Posey said.
“Get out, Ren. We have to get stoned” Imogen suddenly said.
“See you both at the field” Ren replied, leaving the room.
Posey got the pill and placed it on Imogen’s tongue, then they kissed, sharing it with their mouths
They were still kissing when Ruslan entered the room, and they had to break it.
“What the fûck!” He gasped.
“Calm down” Imogen waved.
“Posey, isn’t Ren your boyfriend?” Ruslan said unbelievably.
“Of course, why are you talking like I cheated on him or something? He knows about this” Posey rolled eyes.
“Chill, I’m not dating Posey, she’s my drug buddy and we share drugs on the tongue, period” Imogen waved again.
Ruslan was about to talk again when his phone rang.
It’s a call from Lady Lorraine.
“Yes ma’am?” He picked.
“A call came in from the woods just now, Tamlin got stabbed thrice” Lorraine said, and his eyes widened.
“What!”
He literally pushed Posey out of the way before rushing out of the room.
