HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 71 – 80
PSYCHOLOGY DEPT*
Some representative students could be seen pasting obituaries for Slade on the walls already.
Though none of the obituaries have his picture since his clear picture is so hard to get.
They only wrote RIP PROFESSOR SLADE LUTHER.
As they pasted, more and more students gathered around to watch.
* Tamlin really killed him?
* Sounds like a prank.
That statement was followed by the paving of way by some students.
The students in front wondered what’s going on at first, but then, they began shifting too till there’s enough space, and Slade came forward.
He’s holding so many of the obituary papers as he straightforwardly walked to the wall and began pasting too like a freak.
“Who printed this shit? Should have used a bigger paper” he said casually as he pasted.
* Argh!!!!
* Fûck! He’s not dead?
* Oh my gawd!
The students clustered themselves in one part of the hallway, hugging and holding each other in fear.
The ones pasting the obituaries dropped the papers and almost ran away.
“Pick them up and resume pasting.” Slade ordered icily, and they quickly picked the papers.
They began pasting with him, their hands shaking.
“It’s true?” Tamlin’s voice said as he entered the circle.
“What did I tell you last time? Stab me in the neck if you really want me to stay dead for at least two days” Slade replied.
“Slade!” Imogen rushed into the circle too, shedding tears of joy when she saw him.
Ruslan bit his tongue, wishing he hadn’t come back.
“What the hell is he? How many times is he gonna come back from the dead?” Ren muttered.
“Tell me about it” Posey whispered.
Tamlin rushed out of the place immediately.
Slade continued pasting the obituaries anyways.
The crowd thinned, but Imogen never left till Uriel arrived.
“Why are you pasting your own obituary?” He asked.
“Cos I like them” Slade replied, pasting the sixth one.
“Stop it, please… It’s scaring the students” Uriel whispered.
“Even better” Slade replied, and Uriel sighed.
“You’re a buzz kill” Slade said, finally dropping the rest of the papers.
“What’s hairband doing on your wrist? This is the second time I’ll be seeing it” Uriel asked as they walked down the corridor together.
“I like it” Slade replied plainly.
“Today is her deathday, right?” Uriel asked.
“Unfailingly” Slade replied.
From the balcony of Lorraine’s office, she’s watching him with a glad smile and a pool of wetness between her legs.
“Knew it, legends never die” she smiled.

TAMLIN’S ROOM*
True to Lorraine’s words, there’s an ice bed in the adjoining room, and Isobel’s body has been freezing inside it since she died.
Tamlin had refused her burial.
He’s in the room now, staring at the ice bed with uncertainty in his eyes.
He’s starting to think about Lorraine’s words…bringing her back with the ring.
But no matter how much he thinks about it, it’s not possible.
Twilight is here now, right?
Isobel is the past, and also… Slade would never agree to do it, so it’s a dead end.
He turned around at once and left the room, only to meet Imogen in the main room.
“Your Slade is back, what else?” he said nonchalantly, walking past her to his bed.
“Hi” a different voice said, and he halted abruptly, turning around to see a different face.
Aimee.
“Bye” she breathed, giving him a hard blow in the gut.
Tamlin passed out, and she swept her hair back with her palm before dragging his body out of the room.
