HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 81 – 90
Twilight quickly stripped herself of the wet gown, even her bra had to go since it’s wet too.
She left her panty and boy shorts on before putting on the sweater which stopped on top of her knees luckily.
Just how tall is that bastard?
She took the wet gown and bra and left the room, meeting the maid from earlier by the door.
“Give it to me, I’ll dry it” she said, and Twilight handed it over.
“Thank you” she smiled.
The maid proceeded to leading her out of the hall to the dinning where she met dinner in progress already.
Grandpa Cedric is sitting at the exclusive end of the table, Uriel is by the left while Slade is by the right.
They’re all eating except Slade who’s drinking his dilution again.
Grandpa Cedric was the first to see her, and his face lightened up immediately.
“Why are you standing there? Join us!” He summoned with a wave of his hand.
Both Uriel and Slade looked at her direction at the same time, and despite the fact that the sweater covered her well, she started pulling it down awkwardly.
Uriel looked away almost immediately, but Slade’s empty eyes never left her, especially her legs.
“Come!” Grandpa Cedric said again, and she walked into the dinning, almost falling as a result of Slade’s eyes.
She decided to sit beside Uriel, but Uriel spoke up.
“Not allowed, go sit beside your owner” he said.
“No one is my owner here” she replied instantly.
“You know what I’m talking about” Uriel replied, finally looking at her.
She needs no soothsayer to tell her that Uriel doesn’t like her. It’s obvious.
She went to sit beside Slade eventually, and when she saw the meals, she smiled.
There’s fish, her favorite, and there are lots of fruit juice which she’s in love with too.
“Do you like them? Or do I need to tell the maids to change the menu?” Grandpa Cedric asked.
“I like them, but I have a question” she replied.
“Ask anything” Cedric replied.
“Why must Killa…I mean Slade…why must be kill me? Who am I?” She asked, and silence took over the dinning room immediately.
Grandpa Cedric’s face turned pitiful for a second, but he quickly masked it with a sigh.
“You should ask your father, he owes you the explanation, not us” he said.
“And am I really going to die? Is Slade really going to kill me?…When?” She asked slowly, and the silence deepened.
Her eyes went from Grandpa Cedric to Slade who’s already eating from the cake without any care.
She looked at Uriel too, but Uriel looked away from her, so she hiccupped.
“Can we not think about the future right now? Who knows if there’s another way to lift his curse?” Grandpa Cedric spoke.
“But…
“Eat” Slade cut her off.
“Huh?” She faced him with another hiccup.
“Just eat” he replied, finally looking at her
Somehow, that made her relax a bit
She picked her fork and began eating the fish slowly.
Grandpa Cedric smiled.
