A HERBAL SHOP IN TOWN*
The time is 7:30pm when Lord Vann’s car halted in front of the shop
It’s the one Lady Lorraine told him she saw the elixir advertisement at.
He got to the door and pushed it. Surprisingly, it opened, and he met an old woman inside.
“Aren’t you the owner of the university?” She asked, coming out from the middle of the herbs she’s watering.
“Yes, I’m Vann Wesley” he replied.
“How may I help you?” She asked.
“Two years ago, there was an advertisement pasted in front of this shop for the sales of an elixir…
“The Kontrol elixir?” She cut him off.
“Yes. Who pasted the advert?” He asked.
“I only woke up that fateful morning to see the advertisement pasted on my front door, but the amusing thing is that it was pasted on the front door of every herbal shop in this town too.
We all thought it was a joke, till they started distributing the expensive elixir early this year for those who placed the orders two years ago, and you should see the chaos happening in town right now cos people use it to control whoever they want.
They control girls to rape, control banks to rob and many others. No one knows who these people are, and the cops aren’t even investigating” the woman explained, and Lord Vann sighed
“Thank you for this bit” he said.
The woman nodded, and he left the shop.
Immediately he got out, he nearly got hit by a bicycle, but he was fast to dodge though he almost fell.
The helmeted bicycle rider pedalled away without saying sorry, and Vann immediately saw a paper on the ground which he picked.
He opened it and saw a note.
“GIVE UP ON THE INVESTIGATION YOU’RE TRYING TO START ABOUT THE ELIXIR, OTHERWISE, YOU’LL BE DEAD”
Hi looked up after reading, crumbling the paper in his palm.
“Who are these people?” He muttered.

LUTHER’S ISLAND*
Aimee dismissed the guards when she got to Stella’s doorstep, and she stepped in.
Stella is in bed as usual, but this time, she’s not sleeping.
Her eyes are open drowsily, and a small smile appeared on her face when she saw Aimee.
Aimee sat beside her and covered her well with the duvet.
“Is Slade back?” Stella asked softly.
“Stop asking about that bastard, mother. He’s not ready to see you or father” Aimee replied.
“But I miss him. It’s been twenty two years since he ran away from this island” She said.
“Stop thinking about him, mother” Aimee stood.
“But I can’t… He’s taking too long to kill his cure, and it’s dangerous. I don’t want to lose him. I know what i saw in the forest that night” Stella replied.
“What did you see?” Aimee asked, and a tear slipped out of Stella’s eyes.

FLASHBACK, 27 YRS AGO*
“Oh no!!! No!!!” Timothy screamed when he saw Stella’s unconscious body on the forest ground.
“Stella! Stella!” He knelt beside her, bringing her head to his laps
“Stella wake up! Wake up I promise to get you the ice cream wake up!!” He shouted, but no answer came from her.
“No no no!!!” He yelled again, looking up to see the doctor who’s standing there guiltily.
He stood and grabbed him by the shirt.
“What did you do to my wife? What did you do!!!” He demanded hotly.
“Calm down, please…my name is… Greg. I’m a herbal doctor, and i know how dangerous this ritual is, which is why I came here in the forest to do it! She shouldn’t have come here!” Greg replied.
“Wake her up then! Wake her!!” Timothy yelled, and almost immediately, Stella screamed back to life.
“Arhhhhhggg!!!!!”
Sweat danced on her temples as her back lifted from the ground, her screams filling the whole forest.
“Stella!” Timothy rushed back to her, but his eyes widened when he saw blood pouring out of her middle.
“No! No! You’re only seven months gone. You can’t deliver now!” Timothy said.
“She will. If she doesn’t deliver now, then the babies might die in her womb” Greg said behind.
“What are you saying?” Timothy’s eyes widened.
“She witnessed a dangerous ritual, I’m afraid the baby is cursed cos this ground is unholy I fear” Greg replied.
“Baby? There are three babies inside her motherfûcker! She’s got triplets inside her!” Timothy yelled.
“Ohhhh!!!!!!” Stella cried again.
“Let’s get her to my cottage. It’s not far from here, I’ll help her deliver safely” Greg offered.
Timothy didn’t even think twice before agreeing.
Jointly, they took Stella out of the forest.
