REFECTORY*
Twilight almost couldn’t hear anything when she entered the building.
Apart from the chats from students, there’s obviously something else going on.
Imogen and her dogs are the loudest. They’re literally screaming in their exclusive table.
“Twi!” Echo’s voice reached Twilight, and she sighted her where she’s seated with Rihannon and Damien.
She went there with a smile.
“I didn’t know you’d still come back” Rihannon said.
“Why is everywhere extra noisy though?” Twilight asked.
“Founder’s day is coming” Damien replied.
“Founder’s day?” Twilight blinked.
“Yeah. You should check the homepage for more details” Echo winked.
Twilight got her phone out of her bag to check, and that was when she saw the numerous texts from Tamlin.
“Shit” she muttered.
“Twilight?” Tamlin sounded behind her, and she stood to face him.
“Tam…
She couldn’t finish calling his name when she saw Slade entering the refectory.
Slade’s entry made silence fill the building. Dead silence.
Slade never enters this place.
Tamlin looked back at Slade too, and when he saw the ring is back on his finger, he faced Twilight.
“You gave him the ring? Are you serious right now?” He said disappointedly, and when Twilight made to talk, he saw the necklace is gone from her neck.
“The necklace. Where is it?” He demanded.
“It’s…” Twilight drawled, looking at Slade who’s still standing at the door like Satan.
Tamlin faced Slade again.
“Is it what I’m thinking? You took it from her?” He muttered hatefully, and he began storming to Slade.
“You took it, is that it? Does she look like yours?” He said, pushing Slade’s chest when she got to him.
Slade didn’t sway, just looking at Tamlin with those eyes.
The refectory is still so damn silent like a graveyard, no one is coughing nor breathing at the palpable tension.
Slade smirked and made to walk out…
“You know you can act tall and mighty, but we all know it’s because of your stupid ring! You’re nothing without the ring and that’s why you’re trampling on people!” Tamlin shouted, and Slade stopped.
“Without your ring, I can bet you won’t be able to throw me a punch successfully! You’re weak without it just admit it! You’re not even a man! You shouldn’t call yourself one! Get a skirt!” Tamlin rumbled again like a drunk.
Slade slowly turned back, then he took two long steps to Tamlin before pointing his fingers forward.
He slowly removed the infinity ring from his finger, then he gave it to Uriel to hold.
“Heard you got three stabs on your chest” Slade said, getting a table knife.
He drove the knife into his own chest three times, and students screamed at the self-harm as his blood wet his chest.
Twilight was already freezing frightfully on her spot.
Everyone is on their feet right now with wide, terror-stricken eyes.
“Now we’re fair” Slade told Tamlin, and Tamlin gritted his jaws.
He immediately threw a punch at Slade’s face.
The punch met Slade’s jaw, and everyone gasped.
Tamlin threw another one, and it met Slade’s nose, causing him to bleed out from the nostrils.
He staggered, and students screamed again as Tamlin punched him in the chest this time, on the stabbed spot.
Slade bled blood from the mouth, staggering again.
Tamlin threw a kick next, and it met Slade’s jaw.
Slade staggered back to the wall heavily, and Tamlin chuckled.
“I knew you’re as light as a feather, bastard!” He muttered and rushed forward.
He grabbed Slade’s neck, trying to lift him and throw him off, but it was impossible no matter how much energy he used.
Slade raised his face slowly, and the menacing smile on his bloody lips made Tamlin’s eyes widen.
“Are you done, kid boy?” Slade muttered wickedly.
Before Tamlin could get it, Slade grabbed him by the chest, lifting him off the ground.
“Slade no!!” Twilight shouted, but who’s she kidding?
Slade flung Tamlin away like a toy, and Tamlin flew off to one of the wooden tables.
He landed brutally on it, and the table crashed down, breaking violently.
Tamlin went down in the middle of the ruins, and the wooden table pieces all fell on his head, covering him completely.
