Lorraine faced Lord Vann immediately.
“Why are you just sitting there? Why aren’t you talking?” She said.
Lord Vann didn’t reply.
“Vann!!!” She yelled.
“Lorraine!!!” He yelled back, standing up and making her flinch.
“What? You’re worried about Molly’s parents wanting her for Slade? Is that your concern now? The student kidnappers sent me a death threat note, and students are still going missing. The midnight killer is still killing too, and the founder’s day is coming!
Twilight got her admission letter from a ghost! Several mysterious things happening in this castle, and yet you’re worried about Slade and Molly? Gawd!” He yelled, pushing her out of the way before leaving the office.
Lorraine stood from the chair she fell on, and she bit her red lip so hard that she almost wounded herself.
Even the ghosts in this town and in the city knows that The Luthers are the richest, followed by The Fell family.
Their own family, Wesley is the third richest, and it’s making her feel like crying right now.
“Vann where were you when your mates were working to be the first and second richest? Why are we the third?” She muttered, fighting back her tears.
“And yes, I’m bothered by Molly and Slade, cos I love Slade” she finally let out her tears.
The ringing of her phone made her wipe her tears stylishly with her pointer finger.
She picked the call from Imogen, and when she heard what happened to Tamlin, she left the office.

Slade was still walking down the long corridor when Molly ran all the way to him.
She blocked his way, and his eyes beamed the dark-gold, showcasing how angry he is.
She quickly took a step back.
“I…I just wanted to say thanks for defrosting my tongue. That was the kindest I’ve ever seen you, and I appreciate it” she said.
“Kindness?” He muttered, a wry smile forming on his face.
“That was a trap, and you’re meant to fall inside” he said, and she smiled.
“I won’t, I promise. You don’t want me around Twilight again, so be it, and I’ll debunk the news tomorrow.
Lady Lorraine gave me the job and I was silly to do it because I was jealous of Twilight’s closeness with you. I promise it won’t happen again” she said and smiled again.
Slade left without another word, and she sighed out.
“Gawd…he’s so so hot when he flashes those dark-gold eyes” she smiled, watching him till he went out of sight.

Onyx the cat began meowing in fear the moment Slade came inside.
The cat ran under the piano to hide immediately.
If there’s anything that knows Slade inside out, it’s the cat. It has stayed the longest with him, and it understands every of Slade’s moods.
His mood is windy and stormy right now, and that’s why it ran under the piano to hide.
Slade took off his compression shirt and took a bottle of tequila.
He didn’t try to mix it this time. He opened it and drank directly from it, but it tasted sour, so he threw it down and went to the window.
He opened it and stretched his palm forward, summoning a bird.
A raven perched on his palm almost immediately, and he glared his eyes at it, making it’s wings unflappable, and it’s legs weak.
The bird went limp on his palm, and Twilight’s words from earlier hit him again like a tornado.
“I HATE YOU”
He shut his eyes, reeling back to the past instantly.
