HIS TRICKY CAPTIVE : CHAPTER 141 – 150
The messenger wasn’t done when all the subjects in the hall and soldiers including the Asuras Damon took over from Sindara broke into laughter.
“Does this looks like the tenth province to you?! What’s Shanghai’s business with the demon clan?!”. Zucchini shouted in rage taking his sword to neck of the messenger and the messenger gulped down nothing.
“That old man hates trespassers so it’s only respectful if he doesn’t tresspass our land also. Kill the fool for spreading fake news”. Damon waved letting out a scoff.
“What if he’s saying the truth?! Are you saying Shenghai can’t come here if he wants to? Why?!”. Sindura asked and Damon faced her.
“Just put your mind at rest Sindu not Sheng whatever is storming my palace! He dares not or else!!!!–
“Or else what Damon?”. A strong voice boomed loudly as the ceiling came crushing to the ground revealing Shanghai and the four gods descending from the sky to the wedding hall court through the celing.
Everyone began running for cover and thinking of the only safe place for them they went to hide behind their king who was more than shocked.
Shanghai angrily scanned through the whole place like he was expecting something from them, till Sindura though shocked went on her knees bowing her head to the ground.
“Welcome supreme ruler!”. Sindura said and Damon let out a scoff as he made her stood up.
“How many times do I have to tell you not to bow to anyone else but me?”. Damon frowned at Sindura who frowned back but immediately when Shanghai in anger summoned his sword everyone immediately went on their knees bowing.
“Welcome supreme ruler!!”. They all greeted and Damon glared at them all.
“I’m the supreme ruler in this kingdom!!! No one else!!!!”. Damon roared angrily before tightening his grip on Sindura’s arm and she whinced out in pain.
“You see what you caused?!”. Damon glared darkly at her and flinched fearfully.
“Let her go Damon, she’s the only sensible one amongst you and your people”. Shanghai said from where he stood and Damon let go of Sindura who nursed her arms.
“It’s Demon King Damon for you. Get it right, Old Hai”. Damon glared and Shanghai grinned calming his temper.
“Why are you laughing?! Do I look funny to you?! Wait– you think cause my ancestors who fought you are no more you can bully i and my people?! No way! No Shenge way old man!”. Damon sneered moving closer to Shenghai whose eyes widened and Sindura gulped down.
Shanghai turned to the god behind him.
“What’s with everyone and messing my name up?! First was that trouble making sweetheart of Damien and now this rascal just told me ‘No Shenge way’?! Does my name sound like a meme to all of them?!”. Shanghai snapped at god behind him and the other gods grinned secretly.
“No supreme ruler! Your name’s more than a meme”. The god Shanghai asked replied coldly and the other gods laughed more.
“More than a meme? How? So it’s a meme but a greater one?! Are you joking with me god of thunder?!”. Sheghai yelled facing that particular god, who happened to be the god of thunder and the god’s eyes widened.
“I-i was just answering your question?–
“Forget it!”. Shanghai said facing Damon back only to see Sindara standing right in front of him, everyone except Damon and Sindura had already ran away, Damon actually assigned Zucchini to lead them out secretly.
“Where are the people who were here just now?”. Shanghai asked looking around and Damon pushed tattered looking Sindara to Shenghai.
“Take her away. We give her to you, she’s the only evil one amongst us, cause i know thats what you’re here for, to separate the wheat from the shaft.
Take her she’s the only shaft in this kingdom!”. Damon said confidently ignoring the glare both Sindara and Sindura sent his way.
“You can’t give my sister to him!”. Sindura said.
“Sindu! Sindu! He’ll treat her better! I might end up killing her if she spends another night in my dungeon–
“Oh please!! Lord Shanghai take my husband instead! He’s the only nemesis in this kingdom!!”. Sindura said running to Shenghai and Damon’s eyes widened.
“Her sister’s the nemesis not me!! Imagine she sent Asuras! The strongest army in the world to attack your lovely tenth province and almost injured your favorite Damien! Isn’t that enough reason to punish and take her along?!”. Damon said and Sindura only threw him a glare as she moved closer to Shenghai.
“Come here Sindu Now!!”. Damon ordered but Sindura shook her head.
“No! Let my sister go!!”. Sindura shouted back and Damon scoffed facing Lord Shenghai.
“You see what your presence has caused, my timid wife now talks to my face? You know what, don’t take her sister again, just go back to where you come from.
Our forefathers will judge our crimes amd punish us not you”. Damon said shooing Shanghai away as he slowly walked to take Sindura from him but Sindura ran to hid behind Shenghai instead.
Shenghai on the other hand stood hating himself for even showing his face at all, he felt more confused than he ever did in his whole existence.
“I told him not come here, the people here are all disorganized compared to the tenth providence”. One god said to the others and they nodded I agreement.
“No wonder the war between the demon clan and the Tenth province never ends.
The demon king is too annoyingly crazy while the Emperor on the hand is greatly stubborn and commanding, bad combo, very bad combo”. Another god said sighing deeply and the others agreed as they watched Shenghai getting caught up in Damon and Sindura’s arguments.
Sindara on the other hand only watched quietly since a spell was used to seal her mouth clothe an she couldn’t even move from where she stood cause of the same spell also.
