THE EMPETOR’S COURT
All the ministers were present at court the Queen Mother stood right in front of the Emperor’s throne pacing thro and frheavens, a very troubled look lingering on her face.
Then Minister Zhuo stepped forward, bowing before speaking.
“What is the cause of your restlessness your majesty. The heavens has blessed us with our very own god of war or is it…god of armour now we will surely live long…
“Shut up. Just shut up Zhuo you’re too old to be this greedy, sometimes I wonder if you have any common sense at all. It’s obvious you don’t know that that girl’s existence is a huge danger to us all! If she could strangle the demon king so easily you think she wouldn’t kill us all if she sets her mind to it?!”. Minister Ling snapped and Minister Zhuo rolled eyes.
“But at least she’s not a witch. Plus she’s under the Emperor so we’re safe…
“What if she goes crazy when the Emperor isn’t around to calm her?! What will happen to us all?!”. Minister Wen questioned loudly and the whole court became filled with so much noise.
Then immediately Minister Long stepped forward bowing to the Queen Mother.
“Please Queen Mother, take control in the Emperor’s place and eradicate the threat of a girl we’re facing now”. Minister Ling pleaded and the whole Minister’s eyes widened.
“Are you drunk? The Emperor went through too much trouble protecting her and you want her dead so as to waste his effort!!”. Minister Zhang snapped coming out to glare at Minister Ling.
“I only stated she needed to tamed in case of next time. I didn’t mean we kill her Ling. Killing her is not different from going against the Emperor”. Minister Wen said clearing his throat and Minister Ling threw him a glare like someone who has been betrayed.
“Let’s just hope the Emperor recovers soon, the injuries he sustained isn’t a minor injury. I hope he recovers Soon. I would have visited him with sone gifts if only we’re allowed to, but his mask has probably been taken off and no ones supposed to see his face till the curse is broken”. Minister Wang suddenly said after being quiet for so long and the other Ministers scoffed at him.
“Isn’t it about time you leave office Minister Wang? Your family has done enough and right now the Emperor is even getting entangled with your mysterious daughter!”. Minister Zhuo countered and everyone else nodded in agreement.
“You should all worry first if he gave his daughter any charm to bewitch the Emperor so much! Imagine he taking two strikes of the lightening chain just for her!!”.
The Queen Mother suddenly accused coming down the five steps that demacated the throne podium from where the Ministers stood to glare at Minister Wang who immediately wemt on his knees bowing.
“I dare not even think of bewitching the Emperor your highness!!”. Minister Wang tried clarifying and the Queen Mother looked away from him obviously disgusted at his sight.
“Leave my presence now! You’re excused from court till further notice!!”. The Queen Mother said going back to sit on her throne right next to the Emperor’s.
Then Kai walked into the court going towards the Queen Mother, he went on his knees bowing.
“How’s the Emperor doing?”. The Queen Mother asked her tone sharp and clear.
“No status on that yet, he’s currently unconscious and the physicians have been trying their best in cleaning his wounds but when he’ll fully recover is still unknown”. Kai replied and the Queen Mother sighed lowly before nodding her head.
“Make sure he gets all the treatments he needs and keep that strange girl away from him, she’s brought nothing but chaos ever since she stepped into this palace”. The Queen Mother said but Kai didn’t comply to that he only blinked once on his knees.
Then the Queen Mother stood up a sudden aura of times two authority emanating from her movements she adressed the ministers who awaiting her speech lowered their heads.
“Since the Emperor is still recovering and yet to gain consciousness, I’ll be taking over every affairs of the kingdom till he’s healthy enough to continue his duties.
Any being that fails to comply fully to me will be punishable to death, i demand the same respect you all accord the Emperor anything lower than that you’ll have your head severed from your neck”.
The Queen Mother said and the whole Ministers joined Minister Wang on their knees in afformation of her words.
“Good rulings your majesty!!”. The Whole Ministers chorused and like that the Queen Mother stood up again gkaring at Minister Wang she walked out of the court then everyone began leaving also.
“Seems she hates your presence just like me”. Minister Zhuo scoffed leaving the court.
“At least you can pay more focus to your huge family this time around. You truly need the days off”. Minister Ling muttered with a glare before leaving also.
“Just go home. We’ll plead on your behalf to bring you back to court”. Minister Wen tapped Minister Wang on his shoulders before leaving also, Minister Wang in rage bawled his fist at their remarks before angrily storming out of court.

“What exactly was she?! I thought she was phoenix? How come she posses such great powers?! Even more than me?! I underestimated her.
But how come her powers were a little similar to Damien’s is that the reason why he’s keeping her by his sight?”. Damon questioned angrily as his physican worked on his bruised and even bleeding neck.
“This looks like a work Shenghai would have done. Did you fight with a god your majesty? It’s almost impossible to treat your bruises, its good you retained your limit and didn’t provoke whoever did this to you further otherwise we’ll all be without a king right now”. His physician said and Damon in anger gripped his neck tight.
“Leave me alone!!!! Do I look weak to you all?!”. Damon snapped in anger for the upteemth time as he threw his fifth physician that was working on his neck across his huge dark room and the physician’s back came in contact with the wall roughly breaking his back bone into pieces, he fell to the ground crying out in pains.
Soon after soldiers ran in picking up the physician and taking him out.
Damon’s very dark hair was completely loosed falling down to his arms. He wore a loose black robe exposing his chest and killer abs then a dark robe trouser.
“Everyone’s smell annoys me!! To think they almost left me behind and ran for their lives?! Is that the same soldiers you said you trained Zucchini?!!!”.
Damon snapped at his general who was the only one currently in the room with him as he immediately went on his knees before the Demon king who sat at the edge of hid bed, glaring at his kneeling general with balled fist and visible veins ready to devour him any seconds.
“I deserve to be killed your majesty!!”. The General submitted his head lowered and Damon smirked using his dark powers to raise Zucchini up from the ground strangling him in the neck like his life depended on it.
“You think i won’t kill you?! You’re a big Joke Zuch”. Damon smirked devilishly as he continued in his strangling process while the general choked for breath.
“I…wasn’t the one who…trained them your majesty. The former General Asura was…ordered by the late…Demon King to do the training…but he only picked..the best amongst…our men and recruited them into his personal…Asura army”. The general stuttered his face turning purple and pale already.
“General Asura!!”. Damon yelled out in anger throwing his general to the ground then he stood up in rage walking out of his room to the Dark Lake.

Sindura was forced out of the cold dark lake by a guard throwing her to kneel before the Demon King who glared dangerously at her.
Her whole body was completely wet and she was shivering all over. Unlike any other lake, the dark lake was a hundred times more cold, cold enough to become iceblock but cause of the dark powers surrounding it and the fact that many demons had died right inside, it remained in liquid form.
With Sindura hugging her cold shivering self tight not getting her entire body system at all as her skin had turned pale and cold, Damon bent towards her his gaze dark and toxic.
“How was your cold shower. You enjoyed it right?”. Damon asked trying to touch her wet hair but Sindura slapped his hand off glaring at him.
And then Damon grinned mockingly before seriously gripping her hair tight and Sindura whimpered out in pain.
“You think you have a damn say in your damaged life?! I’m ready to kill you if i don’t get the medallion, it’s either you give it to my now or i throw you back into the dark lake”. Damon threatened tightening his grip in her hair and cried out more.
“Let go of me, you monster!!”. Sindura snapped and Damon slapped her hard across the face sending her to the ground before using her hair to pull her back up.
“I guess you want to go back into the lake then. Rather than using the medallion, I’ll force your father’s army and get them to serve me after all i almost married their late general’s daughter”. Damon smirked and Sindura’s eyes widened.
“Al…most?”. Sindura stuttered her hair still in his sharp grip.
“Yes. Almost, cause you die now”. Damon let out a deadly laughter and like that he threw her roughly into the lake, making sure to drown her with his powers, before letting out a scoff and turning to leave.
“Bury her right next to her father or whatever, just don’t let me meet her body anywhere near my clan”. Damon glared his eyes completely dark as he walked out of the place, the guards then bowed in obligement to his orders.
