THE WANG’S MANSION
“Father! Thank God you’re back we don’t know what’s wrong with Jun father, he’s been unconscious since!!”. Nazia said the moment her father walked through the gate and immediately the Minister heard it he sprinted straight towards Jun’s chamber were all the rest of the family members stayed watching Jun’s unconscious body shake suddenly for the upteethm time.
“What’s wrong with my son?!”. Minister Wang called running into Jun’s chamber and sitting right at the other side of his bed using his spiritual energy to check what’s wrong with her son, since Mistress Gora was already sitted opposite him crying her eyes out.
“He was actually recovering before, but now I’m just completely fed up. I don’t understand why my son has to suffer this way!!”. Mistress Gora’s words came out muffled since she was crying.
“What really happened? And why is there not any physician here to take care of him?!”. Minister Wang snapped.
“We called a whole lot but they left fruitlessly”. Lady Wang replied she stood right next to Cherry and Mistress Yeri.
Then Mistress Gora upon sighting her, stood up walking to her as she glared at Lady Wang who gave her a raised eyebrow.
“Isn’t this whole show enough already?! My son as proved countless times that he’s too weak to be your pawn so please free him of the strange powers you instilled in him!!”. Mistress Gora snapped tearfully and everyone stared confused at them.
“What in the tenth province are you talking about Gora? Do I look like lord Shenghai who controls spiritual powers…
“I beg you to stop feigning ignorance! I’m ready to come clean in front of everyone! I’m ready to let them know that i birthed a weak….
Mistress Gora was interrupted when Lady Wang grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the chamber to a secluded spot amd then let go of her.
“Shut your worthless hole Gora!! Nothing’s ending till i say so! I haven’t even started yet! Even though your son can’t handle what ever is in him, let him keep it in him till I’ve found someone better to transfer it to so seal up your mouth of you don’t want to be exposed in the most cruelest way possible”. Lady Wang glared before walking away and Mistress Gora stood rooted to her feet as more tears poured down her eyes.

THE EMPEROR’S CHAMBER
Jade sat staring at the Emperor’s unconscious body. Emperor Damien laid handsomely on his huge bed, fully clothed in a very white robe and not his usual black, his face wasn’t covered either so Jade had a very good view of the fine creature laying before her.
She had woken up not too long also right at the other end of the Emperor’s chamber, it seemed he dropped her there on a smooth bed also before falling unconscious cause of his state.
“And i thought I was crazy. He’s more crazier”. Jade scoffed, she was dressed in a yellow attire this time, simple makeup no jewelries since she was still recovering but her natural beauty were one to always stand out no matter what.
“I mean, we’re not that close. I’d never even take those strikes for my loved not to talk of someone I barely know. I should call him stupid as well”. Jade mumbled frowning at the Emperor’s face.
“Now he’s making me feel guilty again, like I told him to safe me!”. Jade muttered as little tears came down her eyes, but seeing tears stream down the Emperor’s eyes also she instantly stood up wiping it for him.
“I keep forgetting. But how come he feels my pain but I don’t feel his?”. Jade asked herself as she made sure to wipe the Emperor’s eyes completely dry of tears.
Then Kai walked in to check on the Emperor like he always did, but this time he was with a tray of food and then he cleared his throat seeing Jade all over the Emperor’s face and she turned to wave at him.
“Kai! Wow! Is that food for me!!”. Jade grinned rushing to grab the tray from Kai who tried refuting but the whole content was already gulped down by Jade, but she immediately squeezed her face in disgust.
“What did I just drink, poison?”. Jade said trying to rub the taste from her mouth with her robe and Kai bowed slightly again.
“It…actually belonged to the Emperor”. Kai replied avoiding eye contact with her and Jade blinked at him.
“Is there something on my face? Wait..the food actually belonged to the Emperor?!”. Jade asked again.
“It was an herb actually”. Kai replied and Jade took the tray from him.
“Don’t worry I’ll prepare a better herb for the Emperor then. He’ll surely wake up after drinking it!”. Jade said leaving the chamber and Kai bowed after her.
“Will i ever be used this?”. Kai sighed to himself glancing at the Emperor he left the room only to bump into Mina who was actually going into the Emperor’s chamber, but he stopped her.
“No one’s allowed into his chamber”. Kai said and Mina frowned.
“But I just saw that lowly thing come out of his chamber just now”. Mina replied.
“Lowly thing? That lowly thing saved everyone yesterday while you stood by the side watching like a sack of nothing”. Kai spat and Mina glared him.
“You dare speak to me in that tone?!”. Mina snapped enraged and Kai scoffed.
“Who are you? The heavenly Queen? Just get lost okay it’s too early for me to witness my nightmare”. Kai retorted harshly and Mina smirked at him.
“I’ll remember your actions towards me and once I become the Empress I’ll make you pay for every single word you just said to me”. Mina smirked before leaving.
“I doubt you’ll even become a concubine. Trash”. Kai scoffed before sealing the Emperor’s chamber lock before leaving.
“Hey! Proud coconut!”. Asa called loudly ftom behind, but Kai only balled his fist as he continued walking ignoring her.
“No one dares ignores this goddess”. Asa scoffed as she walked to him tapping his hard on the shoulder and she caught unaware when Kai turned over gripping her by the shoulder he slammed her back on the wall roughly and her eyes locked on his sharp gaze.
“Stay…away from me. Everything about you and your family irritates me, so avoid me if you love your head”. Kai warned deadly before letting go of her and walking away.
“That devil. Like i don’t get irritated by lowlives also!”. Asa spat before running back to her room.

EMPEROR’S PRIVATE KITCHEN
“Would you like any other ingredients your grace”. The head maid her head lowered and Jade shook her head inspecting all the groceries before her.
“No I’m good! Thanks”. Jade replied with a smile and the head maid together with the other maids bowed before leaving.
“Everyone won’t just stop bowing today, i wonder why though. And did they just call me your grace? Me?!”. Jade mumbled to herself as she got her favorite big pot to start cooking.
She first began chopping the veggies but the moment she held the knife it snapped into pieces and she blinked in puzzlement staring at her hand.
“What’s wrong with my hands now?”. Jade frowned as she tried using another knife but it broke also and she groaned walking out of the kitchen only to come back with a sword and she began chopping the veggies with very smoothly without it breaking.
“Much better”. Jade smiled in satisfaction as she continued chopping with the sword, then the head maid walked in but seeing the sword in her hand she immediately turned and ran out of the kitchen.

FEW MINUTES LATER…
“Wow! Scents nice!!”. Kai cheered as carried the tray of food into the Emperor’s chamber, where Kai had stayed checking if the Emperor needed anything.
“Come help me it’s too heavy!”. Jade said quickly as she struggled to carry the tray and Kai ran to help her placing the tray right next on the table close to the Emperor’s bed.
“I’ll feed him so just focus on your food”. Jade said and Kai smiled brightly.
“You made mine too!”. He gushed happily and Jade smiled widely as she pushed like four plates of different meals to his front, Kai couldn’t wait as he immediately picked up his chopstick to eat, he dipped a huge chunk of food in his mouth happily and immediately regretted his action as he instantly threw up on the floor, coughing out loudly, almost vomiting his intestine.
‘No wonder she releases very wicked gas. What in Yongxi did I just digest?!’. Kai snapped his head and Jade gave him water quickly.
“Is everything alright? Did you consume poison before eating my food?”. Jade asked and Kai stopped coughing for a second to give her a mocking look.
“I consumed poison? Seriously? Your food’s that good?”. Kai asked and Jade rolled eyes at him.
“Of course it is! I’ve been cooking for years! Even Ming compliments my cooking!”. Jade said confidently as she picked the herb she made for the Emperor to feed him also, she was about putting a spoon in the Emperor’s mouth when Kai’s eyes widened instantly rushing to her.
“No!! You’ll kill him!!!!”. Kai tried stopping her but she had already forced the spoon into Emperor’s mouth and Kai fell to the ground like someone who just lost a loced one, with his mouth agap in shock and eyes widened.
Jade didn’t notice him as she continued feeding the Emperor with more of the herb, till the Emperor’s body couldn’t take it anymore as he jolted up instantly from his bed holding his ribs he vomited all what she fed him and Jade gasped in shock before facing shocked Kai also
“I told you I would wake him up!! Gosh! My food’s the best!!”. Jade gushed cheeering herself as she watched the puking Emperor who ignored Jade’s excited gaze on him as he gestured at Kai to come to him and Kai instantly ran to him.
“I’m here your majesty. What do you need!?”. Kai asked when he got to the Emperor but the Emperor instantly his robe collar.
“You want me dead right?! Who told you to let her go into my kitchen to prepare poison for me?!”. The Emperor asked tightening his grip on Kai’s collar while Jade only stared at them in confusion.
“Poi..son? My entire hardwork?”. Jade mouthed..
