Then almost immediately Bae walked in, putting on a very white robe to present herself as an angel and Han seeing her couldn’t help but scoff within. Her makeup was just too much bright forcing herself to shine.

‘Is she a ghost or what?’. Han thought as Bae walked in smiling brightly and innocently she settled right next to him making him blink in daze as she began refilling his tea cup in the most elegant way possible.

“Call me Bae Wang. The second daughter of this family”. Bae introduced dropping the tea cup and Han nodded picking up the cup to drink from and she smiled.

“I made it specifically for you. It wasn’t easy getting the perfect flavors, my slaves had to travel far and beyond to purchase them”. Bae muttered with the hope of receiving accolade.

“That means your servant made this. Not you”. Han replied in the most polite way ever and Bae bit her lower lip, while Mistress Soni noticing the awkwardness between them she instantly got up.

“The deer must have been roasted fully by now. I’ll go check”. Mistress Soni said, then she winked at Bae before leaving.

“So tell me. Now that you’re back in the city do you have any future plans apart from joining the court son?”. Bae asked and Han rolled eyes.

“The exams are still next week. I don’t get why your mother and you keep making it look like I’ve written the exams and has been summoned to court….

“Quit being so humble! We know you have a huge brain so passing is a piece of rice cake for you. And even if you fumble a little your father, my father in law is one of the most powerful minister’s in court so he’ll truly work things out for you and our future”. Bae said confidently sweeping a strand of loose hair behind her face to look cute.

“Father in law? How? When? Are you dating my sister?”…

“Of course not! I don’t like girls especially not this brat!”. Giselle snapped rushing into the place and Bae’s widened as she stood up to meet Giselle’s glare.

“Who let you in?!”. Bae asked loudly and Giselle scoffed wrapping her hands.

“Me of course! You think so security is so tight like that of our mansion?! And what gave you the effontery to woo my brother?! He’s too good for you Bae back off!”. Giselle snapped and Bae rolled eyes at her.

“Do you plan on wooing him yourself?! He’s your older brother so stay off his personal life!…

“Who made you a part of my personal life?”. Han suddenly asked getting up to his feet to face Bae who walked to him.

“I might look loud, but I’m not really loud Han…

“I came here, cause my father forced me to nothing too derp or special so learn to respect boundaries Bae. You even went as far as calling my father, father in law already?

Learn to calm down, put your mind at peace and your real husband will appear right in front of you”. Han said before walking out of the place and Bae broke down to the floor, tears rolling down her eyes and Giselle shook head potifully at her.

“Get a grip of yourself Bae. You’ll find someone better. That’s if he exists though”. Giselle laughed mockingly before strolling out also and on her way towards the gate were Hanging was waiting for her, she caught a glimpse of Jun in the garden walking slowly in the support of his mother and she blinked confusion.

“Is my Jun sick?”. Giselle muttered making to walk to them.

“Where are you going to Giselle!!”. Han yelled from behind and she sighed giving Jun a last glance before running to meet Han.

Mistress Soni seeing the siblings exiting the gate in their palanquins quickly rushed into the dining only to see her daughter in tears and her eyes widened.

“Bae!!!”. Mistress Soni gasped rushing to her daughter on the floor.

“What’s wrong Bae, the dinner didn’t go well?”. Mistress Soni asked and Bae shook her head.

“I got rejected even before I could show him my fighting skills fitting for a minister’s wife! His stupid sister had to appear and ruin everything!!”. Bae screamed throwing the meals on the table to the floor and the plates shattered to pieces while her mother only sighed hugging her tightly as she stroked her hair fondly.

“We’ll find someone else, With no annoying little sister. Your father even hates the Zhuos cause of their constant fights in court so just forget about it”. Mistress Soni tried consoling.

“But i want Han!!”. Bad screamed leaving her mother’s arms to flip over the whole dinning table together with the food on top before running out of the place and her mother’s eyes widened.

“Bae!! Bae!!”. Misteess Soni called running after her daughter.

Right outside the inn a lot of people, villagers and strangers gathered the noticed board. Two soldiers just pasted two notice on the board and left as the people gathered around it to read.

👥 Someone call the regional minister to read this for us

👥 I think it has something to do with the palace

👥 Maybe the Emperor finally died, since we haven’t gotten any news about his recovery.

The last person said and everyone gasped out.

“Learn to keep your mouth shut you fool! If the Emperor dies then we’re all doomed!”. One of the villagers said.

“Then what do we do?! None of us over here can read but they keep pasting foolish notices and then purnish us for not following orders like we knew”. Another said and others agreed then suddenly Damon and Zucchini appeared right in front of them shocking everyone with their dark aura.

That particular person wasn’t done speaking when Damon immediately sealed his lips and everyone in fear stood rooted to their ground, some even peeing on themselves.

And Damon shook head at them before facing the notice reading out one of them.

“The date of the exam for the enrollment into the royal court has been moved to tomorrow early morning, changes made by the Emperor himself so every youngsters interested must be prepared and be in the palace very early tomorrow blah..blah..nonsense”. Damon read like a bored child moving to the other notice while everyone still pondered on the first one.
