Bella sniffled as Krystal encircled her in her arms.
“It’s okay,It’s okay!”
“No! It ain’t fucking okay! We’re trapped in a damn haunted house,you brought us here! Do something!” Sofia snapped at Conrad who scoffed.
“Thought you guys never wanted me to be boss? Now,you’re pushing the blame to me?” Conrad glared and Sofia scoffed.
“What are we going to do?” Julian asked,diving his arm into his lucious hair.
“We might as well go to our rooms…”
“Are you that dumb to know that if we don’t stay together,we’ll get killed!” Ethan snapped at zade,his vein popping.
“Mind the way you talk to my friend,you damn Prick!” Nickolas snapped,shielding zade who squirmed.
“Why are you shielding him? Can’t he fight for himself,darn coward!!” Ethan yelled and nickolas punched him in anger.
“Fuck!” Ethan groaned as he made to punch nickolas also but hyce got between them.
“You both are nothing but Goddamn asses!” Hyce snapped and they stopped glaring at each other.
“What’s the point? They should fight themselves to death,I mean,We are going to die anyway!” Lily muttered with a sniffle and Hyce scoffed.
“No,we are not! If we find a way to defeat this being then we can get the hell outta here!” He muttered and Esther tssked.
“Your determination amazes me,but it’s no use,we are still going to die!” She said bluntly like someone who doesn’t care.
She began walking up stairs and the gang glanced at her.
“Where are you going? We need to stay together!” Conrad snapped and she shrugged.
“If the being kills me,so be it!” She said,heading to her room.
“I told you that bitch was a blind witch!” Conrad muttered and hyce rolled eyes.
“So let’s think of a way to survive based on what we know,I mean,after 21 days,if we don’t come home,her parents will probably come looking for us!” Hyce muttered and Nickolas nodded.
“True..so all we have to do is to survive this 21…”
“20!” Liam corrected,adjusting his glasses and nickolas Rolled eyes.
“20 days!”
“So based on what we’ve seen,the monster only attack us when we’re alone!” Conrad muttered and they all nodded.
“Hyce did you notice anything weird during the time you were almost killed?” Caleb asked and hyce nodded.
“He said something strange!” Hyce muttered.
“What’s that?”
“Love is always the defeat of every human!” Hyce recited and Liam stroked his chin.
“Where you thinking of something before that? Or someone?” Conrad suddenly asked and hyce Blinked,nodding numbly,glancing at bella .
“That means…”
“It also attacks when we feel emotions such as..”
“Love!” Hyce interrupted and Liam nodded.
“Then why did Maya die?” Lily asked and Hyce shrugged.
“She destroyed a piece of the house! That must be why!” Liam muttered and hyce sighed.
“So we have to be extra careful?”
“Yeah!”
Julian glanced at Anya.
She appears like she isn’t scared but one could tell she was from the way her arms are shaking.
“It’d be fine,we’ll make it out if here!” He found himself telling her and she glared at him,clenched hee fists and nodded.
“So..What about esther!?” Hyce asked and Warren eyes widened as he rushed upstairs.
“I’m starting to think he likes her!” Caleb muttered and Conrad shook his head.
“He does!”
