INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 151 – 160

The innocent man who had gone through hell in her hands still accepted her because of her condition, when she had been faking it all along.

Tabitha threw her cigarette away and approached Kristin, holding her hand while faking an innocent voice and expression.

“You must have heard me wrong. I’ve never lied to you or Richard.”

Kristin jerked Tabitha’s hand away from her, causing Tabitha to stagger to the ground.

“You’ve fooled my husband and me, and I won’t allow you to fool us again! I heard you loud and clear, and the look on your face when you said those words means you weren’t joking. Haven’t you done enough damage to him in his childhood? Why do you have to come into his life to create more damage?” Kristin yelled at Tabitha, her eyes becoming wet.

“You’re wrong, Kristin. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Tabitha said, still faking innocence.

“Of course you know what I’m talking about. You lied about having amnesia and slight brain damage! I’m going to call my husband, and he’ll kick you out of this house! You don’t deserve either his sympathy or mine!” Kristin said, attempting to call Richard, but Tabitha grabbed the phone from her and smashed it to the floor.

Before Kristin could retaliate, Tabitha choked her neck, an evil smirk appearing on her face.

“Who do you think you are, huh? You’re just a poor woman from Glenwood, a loose woman who had a child with a man she doesn’t know!” Tabitha raged, adding pressure as she choked Kristin’s neck.

Kristin struggled to fight back, but her pregnancy weakness was taking charge.

“You think I’d allow you to ruin my plans? No one is here to witness what I’ll do to you! I’m going to kill you, and I will tell Richard you fell down the stairs. You can’t ruin my plan!” Tabitha shouted, determined to get rid of Kristin, who was struggling to push Tabitha’s hand away from her neck.

“What the heck are you doing to my wife?!” Richard’s voice roared like thunder.

His eyes were menacing, such that those cold, dark eyes of his could kill someone without him having to lay a finger on them.

Tabitha could swear that for a swift moment, she was scared of the boy she mistreated. Was this the other side of Richard that she created?

Richard strode toward them, seized Kristin, and, caring little if Tabitha was his mother, punched her in the face.

Tabitha flew to the ground, her lips bursting from the heavy punch.

“Are you alright?” His gray eyes locked into Kristin’s brown eyes as he asked.

Kristin nodded, trying to catch her breath.

“She is lying, Heartbeat. She neither has slight brain damage nor amnesia. She only faked being abnormal just to crawl back into your life. That’s why she tried to kill me—because I found out about her plans,” Kristin exposed Tabitha.

“That’s not true! Don’t believe a word she says! How can you hit your own mother?” Tabitha asked, and Richard looked at her with eyes filled with so much resentment and anger.

“Mother? Were you ever a mother to me?” he asked, rage boiling inside him.

Before Tabitha could form a word, Richard punched her again. The blow was so heavy that Tabitha felt as if her intestines were being crushed.

He hit her, thinking of the miserable childhood she caused him, the lies she told him, and especially for trying to kill the woman who made his existence meaningful and colorful.

Tabitha spat blood from her mouth, but that didn’t reach Richard.

“You have overstayed your welcome.” He forcefully grabbed her hair and began dragging her out of the large premises, ignoring Tabitha’s pain and wails.

When he reached the huge gate leading outside the house, Richard pushed her out.

“Don’t do this to me, Richard! I’m your mother!” Tabitha faked her tears.
