Back at the underground bunker, the gunfire continued. Some of Tabitha’s men were down.
Thanks to their bulletproof vests, the bullets hadn’t penetrated them, but they continued taking cover while returning fire, avoiding headshots.
Luke spotted Tabitha trying to escape amid the gunfire.
“Richard, she’s trying to get away! Go after her!”
“I can’t leave you both to handle this alone!” Richard replied, firing his gun and taking cover.
“If she escapes, it’ll only get worse. You need to stop her,” Lewis said, firing and hiding behind a wall
“But you are bleeding, Luke,” Richard said, his eyes fixed on the wounds he sustained from the explosion.
“I will be fine, Richard. I can’t die without telling Romina how much I love her.”
“You need to catch her, Richard!” Lewis urged.
Richard nodded, and as he went after Tabitha, Luke and Lewis shielded him from the gunfire of Tabitha’s men shooting at them.
Richard emerged from the underground bunker into the grassy area that led to it.
“Tabitha!” He shouted her name as he looked around the grassy area for her.
Meanwhile, Ophelia and Julio arrived at the grassy area. They got out of the car, their eyes fixed on the tracker on the phone.
“The location stops here. It means Richard is no longer in the underground bunker,” Julio said.
“Tabitha!” They heard Richard’s voice from a distance.
Ophelia and Julio exchanged glances before running toward the source of Richard’s voice.
Richard was still searching for Tabitha, unaware that she was in a secret place in the grassy area—a place where she kept her cars, of which Adriana didn’t know.
“You are so dead, Richard,” Tabitha smirked as she started the engine of her car, driving toward Richard, who was desperately looking for her.
She smirked as she got closer, but before the car could hit him, Ophelia ran toward him and pushed him out of the way. The car struck her, climbing onto her body.
Richard’s eyes widened in shock as he looked at Ophelia, struggling to breathe, blood covering her.
“Ophelia!” Julio rushed to his wife.
Richard stood frozen, tears streaming down his face as he watched Ophelia struggle for breath.
Lewis, Luke, and the FBI agents who survived the explosion emerged from the underground bunker, only to see Ophelia on the verge of death.
Luke spotted Tabitha’s car leaving and quickly alerted the others.
“Tabitha is escaping!”
The FBI agents, Lewis, and Luke jumped into their cars parked in the grassy area and began chasing after Tabitha.
