INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 21 – 30
•RICHARD’S VILLA•
Richard had a hard time trying to digest the meal he ate. To please Kristin not to be sad, he displeased himself.
“You are such a fool Richard, why would you even eat when you didn’t have the appetite to. What’s even going on with you” Richard questioned himself.
He decided to take a leisure walk to try and digest his meal better.
Richard came out from the house, and just when he was about to take a stroll around the premises, he saw Kristin watering the flowers.
“She knows how to portray different kinds of characters everyday” Richard muffled to himself and walked up to her.
“What are you doing?” He asked, his hands tucked in the joggers he was wearing.
“Saving your hotel made me miss farming, and I decided to water the flowers cuz it reminds me of my beautiful plants in Glenwood” Kristin smiled while watering the flowers with the garden hose.
“You always make it sound like farming is a good occupation”
“Of course it is! Have you ever inhaled the wet soil? Or even take the droppings of animals as manure for your plants”
“Ew! Never!” Richard snapped, and Kristin laughed.
“Then you’re missing out a lot. Milking a cow is the best” Kristin giggles, still watering the flowers.
Richard scanned her from head to toe, he cleared his throat and said.
“Can you teach me?”
“Teach you what?”
“You know…. The things you just mentioned, I want to know what fun it has” He said in a low voice, but Kristin heard him.
“Of course I can, but you need to get started with this” Kristin directed the garden hose to his face, the water from it splashed on Richard’s face and clothes.
“Peanut!” He spats, he wasn’t expecting it.
Kristin laughed so hard.
“If you want to learn the ways of the farmers, you should start by getting wet from water” Kristin laughs and sprays the water from the garden hose on Richard again.
His hair wet on his forehead, his clothes drenched making Kristin laugh so hard.
“You find this funny, right?”
“Yes I do” She elated.
Richard got another garden hose, he turned it on, aiming to spray the water on Kristin.
Kristin whoops loudly as Richard splashed the water from the garden hose on her.
They took turns running around the garden spraying water on each other, until it ran out of water.
“It didn’t have to end! It was so much fun!” She laughs. She loves playing a lot.
Kristin shook her head vigorously, her long, wet hair whipping through the air.
As Kristin shook her head, Richard watched her, noticing the playfulness that took over her face, her dazzling smile lightening up his dark world.
He walked closer to her, and Kristin’s brown eyes looked at him, as he took possession of her fragile hand.
Kristin stopped smiling when he held her hand, her innocent eyes staring at him.
Richard ogles at her wet face and her wet sticky hair, and slowly the words phrased out from his lips.
“Keep smiling, l love it when you smile, little firefly”
