INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 21 – 30
Richard got a text from Luke saying he needed him. His eyes scan at Kristin, and she was still having so much fun, walking about the huge bar.
He didn’t want to cut her happiness short, so he signaled one of the waiters, and he came swiftly.
“Keep an eye on her, one tiny scratch on her body, you won’t only be fired, your life will be fired from the earth as well. Do I make myself clear to you”
“Yes boss” The waiter answered with a bow.
Richard’s eyes went to Kristin one more time, before leaving the bar.

“What were you saying over your text?” Richard asked when he entered the office.
“I got leads on who spread the rumors that you were gay”
“Who?”
“My suspicions were correct. It was Ophelia”
“That scheming woman!”
“What are you going to do?” Luke asked.
“I know what to do with that scheming woman. First of all, I’ve to take Peanut home”
“Alright”
Richard walked to the door, but came back again.
“What’s your relationship with my wife?” He asked.
“Kristin? We are friends. Why do you ask?”
“Nothing,” Richard replied and left the office completely.
He went back to the bar, but Kristin was no longer there.
“Where’s my wife?” He asked the waiter who was in charge of looking after Kristin.
“She was over….” The waiter stopped talking when he didn’t see Kristin on the spot he last saw her.
“Over where?”
“She was standing right there at the extreme of the bar”
Richard grabbed his collar.
“I told you to watch after my wife, and it’s not even up to three minutes, you already lost sight of her!” Richard rasped.
“I’m sorry boss, but I’m sure she’d be around the hotel”
“If I don’t find her, then better start calling your family for goodbyes” He let go of the waiter’s collar, and went in search of Kristin.
He continued his search until he sees her admiring the pool and smiling.
Richard heaved a sigh and walked up to her.
“Why did you leave the bar?” His voice came unexpectedly, so Kristin got startled and almost fell inside the pool, but Richard caught her, wrapping his free hand around her tiny waist.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
The warmth of his hands on her waist made her heart develop a beat.
Kristin’s heart continued fluttering insanely, as they both stared at each other like they were featuring in a romantic movie.
When the fluttering of her heart became massive and intense, Kristin pushed him away to stop her heart from fluttering.
“Touching me like that isn’t part of the contract!” She snapped feeling her heartbeat.
“I just saved you from falling into the pool”
“Still! Grabbing my waist isn’t part of the contract. It wasn’t included in the money!” Kristin said before she’d realize it.
She was just too shocked that she felt something when Richard grabbed her waist.
“Then what’s your payment to grab your waist?” Richard asked, walking closer to her.
Kristin furrowed her eyebrows wondering what was going on with him.
“Two…hundred thousand…dollars!” Kristin said and cursed herself for saying that.
“Two hundred thousand dollars?” Richard said, as he kept walking closer to Kristin until her back touched a wall.
She tried leaving but Richard trapped her, by placing his two hands on the wall.
He caged her in between his masculine arms.
“Two hundred thousand dollars to grab your waist?” His baritone voice asked again, and slowly he lowered his height to her level.
“Then what about a kiss?” Richard whispers, his thin lips going to her full lips.
