Paul’s POV

I sang heartily to Cruel summer by Taylor Swift ,playing in my car. I’m a really big fan of hers and I’m planing that after this mission is accomplished,that is if it ever will…….

I’ll go to either her concert or her word tour,I thought and continued singing but just then I saw a car driving towards me in full speed making me surprised.

Why would a normal person in his or her right senses drive at the wrong side of the road and still in full speed, it’s obvious he or she is under the influence of alcohol.

I thought and immediately dodged the car but just then I saw the car take a turn and fell off the bridge into the sea and I immediately stopped and rushed out of my car, same with some other drivers.

I rushed to take a look at the water and saw the car drowning and I didn’t think twice before jumping into the water earning gasp among the other drivers.

I swam deeper following the car and i went to the window to see that the driver had already passed out, I tried to open the door but couldn’t…..

So I began using my fist to hit the window with the aim to break it open. I continued smashing the window which was damn painful and finally I was able to break it.

I tried to take off the seatbelt that was strapped to him but couldn’t and luckily I usually carry a small knife with me so I took it out and began cutting the seatbelt.

I succeeded and managed to drag him out of the car and by now I was beginning to run out of breath.

I grabbed him with a hand and begin to swim towards the surface which was really hard because he has a well built body and he has weight too.

I finally reached the surface and luckily they was a boat already waiting for us, they quickly pulled us up Immediately.

They were paramedical personnels on the boat so they immediately put an oxygen on the man and began trying to keep him alive.

That was so close, I thought staring at the handsome looking man who had almost lost his life.

3 Minutes Later

I walked back to the bridge to pick up my car after they’ve driven the man to the hospital with an ambulance and the moment the crowd saw me, they began clapping and cheering me.

That was the bravest thing I’ve ever seen

You sure are a hero

Such kindness deserves a reward

I was so gobsmacked when he jumped off the bridge

Such a gentleman

I should pair him up with my daughter

They kept on mummering,I smiled lightly and bowed a little walking to my car but just then I heard a masculine voice from behind me.

“You must be on your way to the hospital”He said and I nodded my head staring at him.

“Is this your phone?, I found it on the floor close to the bridge”He said and handed a phone to me.

“This….. This Is not mine”I said staring at the phone and I noticed it had a few scratches on the screen.

“It isn’t??, But I found it a bit close to your car”He said and just then the phone began ringing, I looked at the screen to see that the caller name is Cody and I answered the phone immediately.

” Knight, Please tell me you’re okay”I heard and raised my eyebrows in confusion.

“This is not Knight, They was an accident and we found the phone on the ground”I said and heard him gasped immediately.

“A…… Accident??”He asked with a stutter.

“Yes,A car fell off the bridge but luckily the man has been saved, He was unconscious so they took him to the hospital…..what’s the name again……

I don’t remember but it’s the one at the middle of the city……I’m also on my way there, so you can come take his phone”I said and noticed the other guy didn’t respond again.

“Hello??, Can you hear me??”I said with a sigh.

“Yes……..I’ll just go straight to the hospital then, Thank you”He said with a sniff and hung up.

Was he crying??, Poor him….. He must be shocked and heartbroken,I thought and put the phone in my pocket.

“I’ll be on my way then, Bye”I muttered and got into my car, driving off to the hospital.
