Morning
“Good morning boss”Keith greeted Knight.
“Yeah morning, Did you trace the contact??”Knight asked staring outside his window.
“I’m sorry boss,But the number is a hidden number and I’m still searching for it”Keith said with a bow.
“So why the hell are you in my room if you’ve not found out the caller”knight asked with a frown.
“I’m sorry boss, you told me to get back to you in the morning that’s why I’m here”He said.
“I can’t believe you , You’re our best tracker and it’s a surprise that you came with no reasonable answer this time. I just wonder who this is”Knight said.
“I’m sorry boss, I promise I’ll get back to you”He said with a bow.
“Where’s Xena??, I thought I told the both of you to work on that together?”Knight asked with a frown.
“I told her but she said that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me”Keith said with a sigh.
“Are you kidding me right now??”Knight asked and chuckled in disbelief.
‘Yes boss”Keith said.
“You can leave,Go tell her to see me this minute and make sure you give me a reasonable response next time”Knight said and Keith walked out of the room.
“You’ve started working so early?? “Cody said entering knight’s room.
“Obviously, I’m tired of all these games and I can’t wait to end it”Knight said with a dark smile.
“We will end it Knight, Let’s just stick to our plans for now”Cody said and walked closer to him.
“You’ve got dark circles under your eyes again. You couldn’t sleep last night because of the nightmares right?? “Cody asked and knight sighed softly.
“Yeah Cody, Although last night’s nightmare was a bit different”Knight said and inhaled.
“It was?? “Cody asked staring keenly at knight.
“It wasn’t like the usual one’s where I fall into a sea and drown……This time I felt someone pull me out of the water Cody”Knight said with a sigh.
“Someone pulled you out this time?? “Cody asked.
“Yeah but I couldn’t see his or her face”Knight replied with a light groan rubbing his forehead.
‘What’s wrong??”Cody asked worriedly staring at him.
“The headache, It’s getting worst this past days and it gets worse whenever I try to remember my nightmare”Knight said.
” Sorry, But…… Don’t you think this could be something that has happened to you??”Cody said but knight just kept quiet.
‘It’s obvious Knight, Your memories……. They’re coming back bit by bit.
The last time you said you saw yourself in a restaurant, In your dream and strangely it turned out to be the one close to the bus stop”Cody said with a smile.
” You think, those are my memories??”Knight asked staring at Cody.
“It might be it Knight, Besides you don’t even remember anything from your childhood”Cody said with a smile.
“What do you think you are doing??, Come in”Knight said making Cody a bit confused but not untill Xena walked into the room.
“Good morning boss”She greeted with a faux smile.
“Morning Xena”Cody answered with a smile.
“Why the hell were you standing on the door eavesdropping??”Knight asked with a frown.
“I….. I…. I wasn’t eavesdropping, I just didn’t want to interrupt your discussion”Xena said and knight chuckled softly.
” Urmm…. Knight I don’t think she was eavesdropping, I mean she wouldn’t want to purposely eavesdrop on us”Cody said and Xena smiled slightly.
“I don’t want your thoughts on this Cody, Infact we’re done with our conversation and please don’t forget you’ve got a mission today”Knight said and he nodded before walking out of the room……leaving knight with Xena.
