LINCOLN’S MANSION**
Valerie woke up and stretched out herself before sitting up on the bed. It’s been a while she last slept this well..
Her stomach suddenly grumbled and she pouted while rubbing her tummy. She didn’t even eat anything yesterday.
She came down her bed and looked round the room. It was just like her room back then but different in color.
She went to her bathroom and brushed then changed into a big tee shirt with bum-short before going out of her room.
A delicious odor filled her nose and her stomach grumbled more. She found her way to the kitchen and stopped when she saw Lincoln cooking.
He turned to her and smiled.
“The sleeping beauty is finally awake” He muttered.
She came closer and sat down on the counter, swinging her legs while watching him.
“So you know how to cook” She muttered.
“Yeah, I love cooking.. Don’t you?” He said.
“Well, not really, I don’t know how to cook” She said and bit her lips.
Lincoln chuckled and came to her. He removed the apron he was wearing and wore it on her.
“It’s not too late to learn right?” He smiled and stretched his hand.
She looked at his hand for a while and slowly nodded before taking his hand. He helped her down and then led her to the slice board.
“Here, slice the onions. It stings in the eyes though..” He said.
Valerie picked the onion and stared at it, not understanding what to do with it. Lincoln tried his best not to laugh.
He stood behind her and held her hand, guiding her on how to slice them. Valerie paid her utmost attention to it.
Lincoln looked at her serious face and smiled before facing back what they were doing..
“You look more beautiful without makeup” He blurted out his mind.
Valerie looked up at him and looked front then scoffed.
“Are you using this moment to flirt with me?” She asked.
“Well yeah”
“You’re too straight forward… It’s so weird” Valerie said
Lincoln just chuckled.

“Britt!! I have great news for you” Courtney said, coming to her
Well Courtney was her manage before she was sent to jail. Luckily, she got back assigned to Brittany as her manager.
“What?” Brittany who was about leaving, said.
“It’s YullMaria, one of the richest perfume industry!! I heard boss discussing with them and they want you as their global ambassador!!” Courtney said excitedly.
“Really!!” Brittany exclaimed happily
“Yes!! Things are slowly falling back in place!!” Courtney said.
“Ahh!!!!!” Brittany and Courtney screamed together, hugging each other tightly while jumping on their spot.
“Gosh!! I need to inform Nicholas.. We’ll text later” Brittany said.
“Sure Britt! Have fun with your boyfriend!!” Courtney winked.
Brittany chuckled and left the agency while smiling widely.
“Brittany..”
She looked up and her smile immediately fell. Aidan smiled and slowly approached Brittany who stood on her spot.
“Brittany can I have a little word with you?” Aidan asked.
“The last time I checked, I have nothing to do with you so no!” Brittany said and made to leave but Aidan caught her wrist.
“Don’t touch me!!” Brittany yanked his arm off.
“I love you!!”
Brittany looked back at him and he had a serious expression on his face.
Brittany suddenly bursted out in laughters. She laughed uncontrollably, so much that tears began coming out of her eyes.
Aidan stared at her in surprise.
“That’s a good one Aidan… Your sense of humor has never changed” Brittany laughed, holding her tummy.
She finally faced Aidan once she recovered from the laughter.
“Love? Seriously? What do you know about love? Huh? C’mon, don’t make me laugh again Aidan. When I loved you, what did you do with my love huh?
You dumped it away and now what are you spewing here” Brittany raised a brow.
“In fact you know what? I don’t even blame you, I blame myself for falling for you because honestly I could have found better and luckily I did” Brittany smiled.
