CHAPTER 20
~NIGHT^ DAHLIA’S ROOM
Dahlia’s couldn’t sleep,so she decided to take a scroll.
She left the room.
She saw Daniel on her way and her heart couldn’t stop beating.
“Daniel!” She called out to him but he didn’t turn back.
“I guess he didn’t hear ” she tried convincing herself but who was she kidding?
She walked further and she saw an image hiding behind the wall.
“Who’s there?” She moved closer and she was shocked to see her mother.
“Mother! What are you doing here?”
“I came to see you, aren’t you happy?”
“Of course I am.” She went to hug her mom and suddenly she felt a $tab on her back.
Dahlia groaned in pain, disengaging the hug immediately.
Her mum stabbed her again but this time,on her stomach.
Blood gushed out of Dahlia’s stomach and bI.ood spilled out of her mouth.
“Mu…m” She said almost inaudible.
Suddenly her eyes shone red,the tear In her stomach covered up and the bI.ood dried up.
“How dare you!!!?” She screamed and her mother was tossed away and she landed on the wall with force.
Fear was visible in her eyes.
“I’m sorry.”
She was about to blast her with fire bit someone touched her.
She came back to normal and she fell unconsciously.

~NEXT DAY
Dahlia opened her eyes and she was surprised to see herself in her room.
Her roommate was present.
“What happened?”
“You don’t remember? Someone tried to kll you yesterday,I guess an enemy.” Roselle said.
Dahlia tried remembering.
“I only remembered being stabbing by my mum!”
“You were stabbed?” Mae asked.
“Yes! Roselle are you the one that healed me?” Dahlia when she didn’t see any trace of wound on her stomach.
“When Adrian brought you in,we didn’t see any wound on you, maybe you healed yourself.” Elena said.
“I don’t remember that strangely,what of my mum?”
“Someone took her away last night.”
“What if she’s in danger? My mum can’t possibly want to kill me right? Someone definitely is using her.” Dahlia said.

Surprisingly Daniel’s powers are back.
He was just coming back from Dina after supplying what Roselle will need in making the daylight ring.
His mind then drifted towards Mae and he smiled.
“Isn’t she amazing?”

“Of course she is” he heard Ivy voice behind him and he hissed.
“What do you want?”
“Want you to come back to your senses,this is not you!”
“What are you talking about?”
“Elena confessed you,stop loving Mae.”

“She really did? I need to thank her for that then,I don’t mind her at all. She made me to realize I love her.” He said and left.
