He looked at me. “What ?”.
Oh God! I just spilled this out. But its now or never. I have to tell him to stop all this.
“Thats it, Seven”. I whispered. “I’m Bailey Hadid”.
He let out a scoff. “You are joking, right?”.
“No, I am not”.
“This is just a joke, Isabella. Come on, you can’t be, b-be her”.
“Seven, thats just it”. I stepped away. “I’m Bailey”.
“What?”.
“Yes, the same girl you humiliated in front of everyone, that same girl that lost her scholarship all because of you”. I told him tearfully.
He stared at me intently. “B-Bailey?”.
“Yes, the same Bailey Hadid that you tried to rape back in your room, remember that? Huh?”.
He paused dumbfounded as I wipe off any tears that were threatening to roll down my cheeks.
“But how? I mean, how come I didn’t … ?”.
“Well I got a disguise, its as easy as that. I changed myself over the years, got a new haircut, new eyes and an accent as well”.
“Bailey? You are Bailey?”. He asked again.
“Uh-Huh”.
“All this time, I fell for you and some chick named Isabella?”.
I shrugged. “Whats wrong? Can’t handle seeing me or what?”.
“Wait, why did you then get close to me because I know that you hate me”.
“I don’t know, Seven, you tell me. I wanted revenge and along line, you fell in love”.
He ran his hands through his hair. “I fell in love with you without knowing?”.
“Yep”.
“But seriously, Bailey. I’m in love with you or Isabella, okay? Lets just put the past behind us?”.
I scoffed. “What am I? Like five? You think I’ll say yes to you ? After everything ? Its a No”.
“No?”.
“Precisely”. I smirked. “And the answer to your question is No, Seven, I don’t love you “.
“What? Then why were you getting closer to me all this while? Huh? To hurt me?”.
“Glad you figured that out”. I told him about to walk off.
“Hey!”. He turned me back to face him. “I am not done talking to you yet”.
“What do you wanna know? I came back to Springfield just to have my revenge on you, Seven Marshall”.
“What stupid revenge! Bailey, its been four fucking years, can’t you let go of it?”.
“Let go of it?”. I yell back at him. “You are damn lucky that I didn’t do worse to you”.
“What?”.
“If Katie and Tyler hadn’t talked me out of this whole revenge issue, then tryst what I would have done to you would be just plain sad”.
“Really? What more could you add to my pain right now? Finding out the girl I fell in love with is actually the mistake of my past is pain enough”.
“Thats not true”. I countered. “You are never for once pained, all you love is just deriving pleasure in hurting other people”.
“I don’t do that “. He growled angrily.
“Okay then. What about all the girls whose sex videos you uploaded on the website everyday back then? What about them?”.
“They deserved it, too clinging and always desperate”.
“Well that doesn’t give you the right to toy with their emotions and then dump off some place”. I said angrily. “And I’m glad that you fell in love with me”.
“What?”.
“Now you’ll see how its like for someone to toy with your emotions “. I told him off and then walked away.
“Bailey? Bailey?”.
I ignored his calls and walked off quickly this time not bothering to stop or go back to Ryder.
“Isabella?”.
I paused and turned seeing Sean. I wiped my tears off my cheeks immediately before putting up a strained smile.
“Sean? Hey”.
“Are you okay?”.
“Of course, I am”. I gave him a little smile warmly. “Do you need anything?”.
“No, I’m just curious as to what you might have said to Seven earlier on. The look on his face is kind of hilarious”.
I thought about it as I walked along with him. Should I tell him my real identity now or just let him find out from others?
“Sean?”.
He glanced at me. “Yeah?”.
“Do you remember a girl named Bailey? I, um, Katie told me about her”. I lied adding the last part hastily.
He chuckled lightly. “Yeah, Bailey Hadid”.
“What about her ?”.
“She was the smartest chick I have met, I even called her Princess because she’s fit to be one”.
I smiled to myself as a small blush creeped up my cheeks.
“Bailey looked like a nerd but she was really sweet”. He continued. “I mean, to the point where I liked her”.
“Oh. What happened?”. I asked pretending not to know.
“She asked me to stay away from her”.
I remembered telling him that because his bitchy cheerleader girlfriend trashed me against my own locker.
Could you believe her? What a psycho chick ….
“Sounds like you really liked her”.
“Yeah, I did but thats all in the past now and besides its not like she would have been mine anyways”.
“All in the past?”.
“Yeah. I’d rather not dwell on certain events, Isabella. The more you remember it, the more your pain increases and yiu’ll never get over it”.
I paused thinking about what he said.
Maybe I’ve never gotten over what they did to me years ago because I harbored hate in my heart for them.
Maybe I should do as Sean said.
Forget on the past. And don’t deal on the certain bad events. Yeah, I’ll do just that.

I slanged my bag over my shoulder and glanced at Riley on the bed to see her all smiles staring at her phone.
“I take that as a yes that you and Alvin got back together, right?”. I asked her loudly.
“Yeah”. She blushed profusely. “We did and he apologized to me as well”.
“Thats great”. I beamed brightly. “I’m really happy for the both of you”.
“Thanks, Isabella. If you haven’t talked me into going over to talk to him maybe all this wouldn’t have happened”.
I smile and nodded about to leave the room when I realize that she called me Isabella.
Of course, she would. I look like Isabella.
I sighed making a mental note to change my hair color back to brown again and then stop wearing contacts; back to glasses.
Or maybe I’ll wear the contacts a little.
I smile at Riley. “Don’t call me that “.
“Huh?”. She looked up at me. “What did you say!”.
“My name isn’t Isabella actually”. I told her.
She paused. “What?”.
“I’m Bailey Hadid”.
I look at the shock on her face and smiled before walking out. I walk through the dorm thinking of how I should reveal my identity to Sean and Alvin.
I paused hearing my phone buzz with a text and so I brought it out of my bag to check it.
A text from Owen. He wants to spend the christmas with me.
Oh that reminds me, the semester ends in about two weeks approximately. Woah, time does fly so fast.
“Bailey”.
I turned around and smiled. “Katie”.
“Ooh sorry”. She giggled. “I meant to say Isabella”.
“Its alright, you can call me Bailey”.
Katie gawped at me. “What?”.
“You know that thing that you and Tyler were trying to teach me that day?”. I asked as we walked together.
“Yeah. What about it?”.
“I think I’ll put it to use. Put my past behind me, I’ll stop dwelling on past events”.
She looked at me. “Did you lose a screw on your head or something ? Why you acting like this?”.
“I’m serious, Katie. I’ve decided that I’ll put everything behind me and try to forget what the STARS did back then”.
“Oh em gee!!”. She squealed hugging me tightly. “My bestie is back”.
I laughed heartily. “Katie. Let go of me”.
“I’m so happy, Bailey. You are back, the real you”.
“You are choking me”. I said and she left me.
“So that means your stupid revenge plan is off? You no longer doing it anymore !”.
“Yep”.
“Awesome! Wait … “. Her face turns sadly immediately. “That means you don’t have any reason to stay in Springfield anymore”.
“Of course, I do. I have my best friend who will always support me through thick and thin”.
“Yeah, I will”.
“And I have Ryder”. I said blushing a little.
“Ooh!”.
I laughed again. “Stop it!”.
“When was the last time you visited your parents?”.
“I haven’t in four years “. I said feeling little guilty.
She glanced at her phone. “You still got time, Bailey. Classes aren’t starting till 10”.
“Oh”. My eyes lightened up. “I guess I go on then”.
“Good luck”.
“Yeah and say hi to Tyler for me”. I told her walking off.
I giggled running off. Yeah, it feels so good to be back. I’m Bailey freaking Hadid.

I walked into silent graveyard heading to mark spot when I paused seeing him. He was there by his father mark spot.
I smiled to myself as I once remembered when we bonded right here. Thats was how I got to know the real Ryder.
“Hey”.
He looked up at me. “Bailey? What are you doing here?”.
“You know this place brings back a lot of memories”. I said sitting next to him.
“Yeah. Thats was when you first saw me cry”.
“But I thought that was sweet”.
He chuckled lightly. “Still a nerd, I see”.
“Shut up, Ryder”.
“Bailey?”.
I glanced at him. “Hmm?”.
“Don’t ever try to change yourself again”.
I smiled reassuringly. “I won’t”.
“I love you”. He smiled back pulling me close to him.
I rested in his arms. “I love you too, Ryder Tatum”. I said as I closed my eyes inhaling his scent.
Okay, maybe none of the STARS did get my virginity. Maybe I got embarrassment, lost a scholarship and had to move because of one stupid bet.
Yeah, but among all that. I still found love, friendships and that can be a consolation prize, I guess.
I open my eyes to see Ryder staring at me and I blushed profusely. Yeah a prize, I got my bad boy, after all, I’m still his nerd.

“Yes, Owen”. I say as I sling my bag over my shoulder.
“But do you need me to pick you up?”.
“Oh Gosh! Why are you such a pest recently?”. I said frustratedly over the call.
“You are my only sibling, I need to check up on you every day”.
“Now you did, kindly please cut the call “.
“So Bailey, how is boyfriend?”.
“Oh jeez! Where is Clarissa?”.
“Okay, fine, bye”.
I giggled as he disconnected the call and I dropped the phone back into my backpack hastily.
“Who was that?”. Riley asked as she wore her only backpack carrying a few books.
“My brother”.
“Is he hot?”.
I bursted into laughter. “Seriously? Riley, you got a damn boyfriend, remember?”.
“I’m just saying. I might need a backup whenever you know, Alvin screws up”.
“Oh really?”. I giggled again. “He has a girlfriend, Clarissa Yates and she’s hot as fuck”.
“Oh”.
“And besides, Katie tried flirting with Owen back in high school”. I added. “It never did”.
“Ooh. Poor Katie”. Riley said and I laughed.
I stepped outside the room and she walked out with me also as we stride through the dorms.
“So where are you headed?”. I asked as we walk into college grounds.
“My last class. Hey! You are leaving this town tomorrow, right?”.
“Yep but just for the Christmas holiday and then maybe I come back”.
“So you’ll miss Ryder right?”. She wiggled her eyebrows at me.
“Hmm. Probably”.
“So have you guys done anything yet? Like have sex”.
I laughed again. “What?”.
“Have you guys__”.
“I understood what you said”. I told her interrupting the sentence.
“Well have you ?”. She urged me. “Come on, tell me, Bailey”.
“No”.
Her eyes widened. “No?”.
“Yeah, No”.
“Jeez! Ryder is more patient than I thought, I was thinking that you two would have had sex by now, its been a month”.
“And so?”. I shrugged. “I really don’t want to lose my virginity just because I’m dating Ryder now”.
She paused and looked at me. “You are still a virgin?”.
“Yeah. Whats wrong?”.
“But I thought , Seven and the guys made a bet on who will take your virginity”.
“Guess none of them could do that”. I said grinning widely.
“What the … ! Girl, you need a high-five”.
I laughed as we both shared a high five with Riley talking about how me being still a virgin is surprising.
Well I don’t kind of blame her. I mean, five guys tried to sleep with me but hey! I’m still intact. None of them could be the ultimate virginator and thats just a fact.
“So you and Alvin, huh?”.
“We had sex last night if thats what you wanna know”. She said laughing.
I scrunched up my face. “Oh Gosh! Riley, I don’t wanna hear the details”.
“Okay if thats what you want”.
I laughed along. “Yes, thats what I want”.
“Ooh. There he is”.
I watched as she squealed excitedly as she giggled feeling giddy on seeing Alvin walk towards us.
Yeah, she’s lovestruck.
“Hey Babe”. He kissed her cheeks.
She smiled at him sweetly. “Morning”.
“Hey Bailey”. He gave me a little nod and I smiled in return.
Yeah, he now knows that I’m Bailey. Well Riley spilled the beans out to him and yeah I admitted it to him.
Even Sean as well knows who I really am, I told them and now the STARS knows my real identity as Bailey Hadid but they are still not friends like before.
“Woah. You two should get a room”. I said as they both kissed in front of me. “You are still in public, remember?”.
“We’ll see you later, Bailey”. Riley said as she laughed clinging on to Alvin.
“Yeah, good luck choosing your boyfriend over your best friend”.
“See ya”. She stuck her tongue out at me and walked off with Alvin.
I chuckled lightly and turned off in another direction. I decided to head on to the court to see if Katie will be there.
Hmm. Basketball court, she’s always there with her boyfriend, Tyler.
I got there and stepped walking past the bleachers when I stopped seeing Tyler and Katie bicker.
Wait. What? They never quarrel. Well they do, but its often rare and they usually settle it quick.
“Hey Guys”. I said striding over to where they are.
Katie looked at me. “Thank goodness. You are here, Bailey”.
“Is something wrong?”. I asked as I got there.
“You know we don’t really need to involve her in this conversation”. Tyler said. “We can just talk it out, Katie”.
“No”. She shook her head. “Bailey will be involved in this”.
“Okay, I’m clearly confused. What will I be involved in?”.
“Well the fact is that the STARS anniversary is supposed to be tomorrow and Tyler has refused talking about it”.
“Thats because I don’t want to, okay?”.
I turned to Katie. “Huh? What is he talking about?”.
“Tomorrow will be exactly 10 years since Seven, Tyler, Alvin, Ryder and Sean were all friends”.
“Oh”.
“And Tyler here refuses to talk to either any of them”.
He shrugged. “We are no longer friends”.
“Well the five of you can try to be friends again and bring back that bond”. Katie said telling him.
“No way”. Tyler shook his head. “I’m not gonna do that”.
I watch the both of them as they argue with Katie trying to get him to agree while Tyler refuses.
Oh shit! All this is kind of my fault. Well I do remember, Ryder saying that a girl brought them together and a girl separated them.
“Tyler!”.
I shot out of my reverie to see Tyler walking straight off not answering Katie at all.
She huffed angrily. “Can you believe him?”.
“Well yeah, I actually do”.
“What do you mean by ‘you do’?”.
I sighed softly. “Katie. Tyler just isn’t ready to go back being close friends with them again”.
“But I want the five of them to be close like before. I mean, like they should put the past behind them, you know that, right ?”.
“I think that will be hard to do”. I told her truthfully.
“I know that and thats why you need to help me. Come on, Bailey, please”.
“Why me?”.
“Well thats because they’ll listen to you “.
I groaned. “What am I even supposed to say?”.
“Just try convincing Seven and Ryder to come and then maybe I’ll try to talk with Sean and Tyler while Riley talks to Alvin”.
“Do you think it will work?”.
“It will”. She affirmed it.

I walked out of the basketball court after the conversation with Katie and stopped on hearing my phone ring.
Oh damn it! I know its Owen again. Jeez! He doesn’t need to remind me that I should come back home tomorrow.
I sighed and disconnected the call zipping up my backpack as I bumped into a guy.
“I’m so sorry”. I said stepping back.
He looked at me and didn’t say anything, just walked away.
Seven. Seven Marshall.
“Seven!”.
No response. He kept on walking.
“Hey!”. I ran towards him and then stood in front of him. “Hi!”.
“What do you want?”. He asked coldly.
“I just need to talk to you, thats all”.
“And I don’t see any reason why I should talk to you, I ruined your life, remember? I was the cause of everything, isn’t that what you said?”.
I sighed softly. “Seven. Yeah! I said all that but that was all in the past, okay?”.
“Its fine, Bailey, I get it. You don’t need to sugarcoat your words, I know you hate me, okay ?”.
“Seven! I don’t hate you , yes I despise you for what you did to me. But I don’t hate you at all”.
“So you forgive me ?”. He asked me hopefully.
“Yeah”. I whispered. “I do”.
“Thanks”.
I nodded and pulled him into a light hug to ease his doubts about me forgiving him.
“Thanks”. He said again pulling away from the hug.
“And um, Seven?”.
He paused. “Yeah?”.
“Do you still want to be friends with them again?”.
“Really bad. I miss them so much”. He said lowly.
I nodded in response. “I’ll help revive the five of you friendship “.
“And how are you going to do that? “.
“Just trust me”.
He gave me one last hug before walking away. I sighed and turned to face my front when I stopped seeing Ryder.
I smiled at him. “Hey!”.
“Why was Seven talking to you?”. He asked still looking behind me.
“Oh that. It was just something important”.
“What?”. He urged me. “Why were you two hugging as well?”.
“Its something, okay ?”. I held his hand affectionately. “Don’t you trust me ? You think I’ll cheat on you ?”.
“Of course. I just don’t trust Seven”. He said squeezing my palm softly.
“Ryder, stop it. Seven is changed and he really misses being friends with you”.
“So you are going back to Australia tomorrow?”.
I nodded as we walk towards the direction of my dorm.
“But I’ll come back”. I said hastily.
“You won’t forget about me , right?”. He paused to face me. “Right, Bailey ?”.
“I won’t forget about you “. I repeated softly.
He cups my cheeks softly placing a kiss on my lips as I responded for a while before I withdrew.
“You know that we are in public, right ?”.
“Yeah. Thats my nerdy nerd”. He laughed tweaking my nose playfully.
“And you are my bad boy, right ?”.
Ryder grinned. “Right”.
