For the first time, red who had nothing to smile about smiled after so long.
“No one touches what’s mine except me” he uttered watching as Brimsley rolled to the ground crying in pain and Red in her moment of distraction didn’t know when Jack had placed the collar around her neck.
“How does it work?” Asked Drakko for Jack to step forward.
“It’s the newest invention for slaves.
By pressing this button here in the middle, it sends a shocking wave to the one who wears it.
It’s enough to make a person go unconscious or even dead depending on the way it’s being used”
Just as jack proceeded to press the button, his actions halted when he looked at Brimsley and not wanting the same fate, he handed it over to Drakko.
Red seeing this shivered trying to crawl back and as Drakko stepped forward with the device in his hand, a deadly look crawled up her face.
A look that made tears fall down her delicate chin as she knew how painful the device could really be.
Just as she closed her eyes waiting for the impact, she didn’t expect to feel his hands to touch her face startling her.
His hand was warm and light to the touch.
“Scared?” He asked making her blink but no words left her lips.
“What’s your name?” He asked
“Red” she answered meekly, her body still weary of the man before her.
“Red. Little sweet Red” he said enunciating each word he spoke.
Tilting his head, he rubbed at the device he held and standing to his feet he said.
“Let’s see if this works” his words made the faint smile up her lips to vanish and in the next moment, a
wave of electric shock passed through her making her scream in Extreme pain.
Her body landed to the ground and cold sweat along with tears formed on her face.
Falling to the ground she cried profusely and just before she was unconscious, the last thing she could see was his devious smile as he spoke.
“Welcome sweet Red”

Hours passed and when Red woke up, strange noises sounded from beside her ear and when her eyes opened, she found two girls in the room with her.
Just as she was about to stand, she was about to fall when her butt landed on the soft bed beneath her.
It was then she took a good look at the room she was placed in to see it was well decorated.
“She’s awake” muttered the first.
“Should we inform them?” Asked the other.
“Of course”
With that, they both left her alone and shortly after, sounds of footsteps approached the door and standing there, she found Drakko.
His presence made a gasp left her lips as she remembered what happened before she passed out.
“You’re awake.
Seems like it worked after all” he said stepping into the room but she panicked wanting to move back.
“Don’t fret. I won’t harm you. Yet” he added, his lips widening into a smile.
“You… You”
“You’re my mate and you should be treated as one.
I’m so sorry I found you late but I’m glad I’m here to put you out of your misery” he said stepping closer to her, his thumb brushing her fair cheeks.
At first Red’s gaze squinted at him but her gaze averted to the two ladies that stepped into the room and noticing their presence, he moved away from her.
“Get her dressed and bring her down” he said for the ladies to bow their heads watching him leave.
Just as told, they did as he said watching off the dirt and stripping her off the dirty clothes.
She looked completely different when she gazed at the mirror and when she was brought downstairs, Drakko changed into a completely different outfit.
It was more casual as he wore a white shirt and black pants.
It was then Red took the time to stare at him and she couldn’t help but admit he was really handsome.
His perfect jawline could leave many drooling and alighting the last of the stairs, she heard him speak.
“Seat” he said and she did as told.
Food was served in front of them but Red didn’t touch it and only when Drakko motioned for her to take a bite did she eat.
It was really delicious
Red smiled as she glanced at him, he was… Different.
He didn’t treat her like a slave.
“May I?”
“Sure”
“What’s a mate?”
“It’s a special bond between us LYCANS.
You are my mate”
“Is…is that why you treat me so nice?”
To this he smiled all the while nodding his head.
