“The guy named Gregor was easy. Just had to mix some sedatives in his food but the ALPHA he is different.
Sedatives don’t work on him but perhaps because I placed it in his wounds other than his food.
I put a great amount in there. I didn’t think it would work but I’m glad it did” she said with a smile.
“But, he’ll be awake Very soon and ask for your head and I’m afraid this time I can’t help you” she said dropping the lamp to the ground and approaching Red.
“Once you are out of here. You have to run as fast as possible”
“Why are you helping me?”
“A girl like yourself once approached me. She was his mate and the little time she spent together.i came to adore her but on the night she was to be killed, she came to me begging and pleading I help her but I did nothing simply watching as he took her life away from her.
Then I did nothing but now it’s different. I’ll help you with the best of my ability” . hearing Poco’s words, tears formed on Red’s face.
“Don’t cry, we have to move”
“How long will the alpha sleep?” Red.asled as they began their journey down the dark tunnel.
“He’s different from the others so I don’t know. With Gregor he could last up to an hour but with him, it’s…” She suddenly halted in her words, a gasp leaving her lips as her eyes went wide.
“What’s wrong Poco?” She asked her and when Poco turned to her, fear was evidently seen in her eyes as she spoke.
“HE’S AWAKE”

Now Cedric who left to question Red found the room empty with Gregor lying outside unconscious.
Looking at the man he ordered to bring her in, he yelled out
“What happened here? Where is she?”
They bowed their heads looking defeated at his questions.
“We don’t know. We found Gregor lying here and the girl gone” he narrated to him for Cedric to rub his furrowed brows.
“Well then find her!” He ordered to once again receive that same look.
“We did and we sent others to look for her but still nothing. It’s like she disappeared or something” said the men to hear Cedric sigh.
“Red is no ghost to disappear. Keep looking while I…” His words cane to a halt when Felix approached him.
“The alpha calls for you”
“He is awake?” He asked to see Felix nod and knowing the alpha won’t be happy to hear the of his mate’s disappearance, he sighed.
Quickly he left heading in the direction Drakko was kept only to be stopped by the maids Who mistakenly bumped into him.
Her eyes trembling with fear.
“He’s gone mad. He’s going to kill us all.
He’s going to kill us all” she mumbled,her body trembling and cedric who heard her furrowed his brows in confusion.
“What do you mean by that?” He asked for her to point in the direction she came from but the next words that left her lips shocked him.
“He’s killing everyone”
Immediately, up on hearing her, he walked in the direction she pointed. The sight making his body shake with fear as the sight of BLOOD was seen.
Felix came to meet him only to gasp with the shock.
“What is this?”
It wasn’t just blood from anyone but blood from their own kind as they laid lifeless on the floor.
“Quick, help the others in search of the girl but before you go, check to see if there are any survivors”
Leaving there he stepped in to find the alpha but he wasn’t alone as there were three ladies with him.
All of them was stripped off their clothing and his eyes went wide to see two of the girls were killed in a brutal way.
Their eyes gauged out, arrow stuck in their body’s hands hands tied together above their heads.
The third girl caught his attention making him swallow as it was his mate, Vera.
“She’s special isn’t she?” Drakko’s voice sounded in his ears making him avert his gaze to him.
“Alpha we need to talk”
At this Drakko stood from the chair, his hands filled with thick Red blood.
“What’s there to talk about? Is it the fact that you have no leads on the humans who attacked me or the fact that right under your nose, you let the girl escape”
“How did you…”
“I know everything”said Drakko cutting him short and as he turned to look at him, Cedric gasped when he looked at his eyes.
They weren’t dark. No, they were blood Red.
“I…”
“Can explain?” Said Drakko tilting his head at Cedric before going to stare at the girl.
“I see the way you look at her. Tell you what, if you can tell me something that will change my mood before the arrows elapse, I’ll spare her life” he turned to look at the table which had different instruments of torture and on it was a crossbow and three arrows.
