The way she avoided him tugged at his heart.

He didn’t like it as he yearned to be with her.

Not able to take it anymore he closed the little distance she had created by extending his legs to her and pulling her close.

Her forehead colliding with his chest making her wince in pain.

“Ouch”

“Did I hurt you?” He moved to rub the area on her forehead but she withdraw her head back.

Now am evident frown casted up his head and irrelevance of the way she acted, he went ahead to rub the area soothing it with his thumb.

“It hurts to see you run away from me Agatha” he said feeling aggrieved.

Sadness lingered in his voice, one Red could feel but she said nothing.

“The maids told me you haven’t taken your bath”

“I didn’t want them to bath me”

“Then I’ll bath you” he smiles gently.

This warm side of him was nice to see and his smile was bewitching.
Shaking her head, she refused.

“No. I can bath on my own”
She said.

Drakko didn’t want to push the matter any further so as to not to make her feel uncomfortable.
Nodding, he moved her into the bathroom but didn’t enter.

Red felt uncomfortable and stood there waiting but he didn’t move for a long time.

Only after minutes of waiting did he hear his footsteps moving out of the room did she take her bath.

Glancing at the mirror on the wall, she looked at herself but there was nothing different only the sight of mud which stained her face along with the little scratches she had gotten from the woods.

With a sigh she stepped out but he was no where to be seen.

MEANWHILE

Cerci was scrolling through her phone expecting to hear news of Red’s death since the alpha ordered for her to be found and killed.
Out of all the mates being brought here, she was the one she hated the most.

Her very looks was an oppression to her and the way she glared at her the other day irrelevant that she was a slave annoyed her to the core.
Who did she think she was to stare at her?

What’s more to even speak to her?

Scrolling through her phone with one hand while looking at the beautiful nail designs done to the other hand, a knock to the door was heard pulling her attention.

And looking towards it, her smile brighten as she gestured him in.

“Done? Is she dead?” She asked.

“No”

“What do you mean by no?”

“She’s isn’t dead. Infact, she’s very much alive and well taken care of”

“What?!” This news made cerci blink in utmost confusion.

“Everyone is confused.
Not only that but he…”

“Go on” she demanded.

“He brought her into Agatha’s room and made her stay there”

“What?!” She exclaimed once again, her veins boiling with an unsettling blood.

And not caring about the jails she had just done, she sent the entire thing in the table crashing down to the floor.

To cerci, Agatha was Drakko one true mate.

Even if the rest didn’t quite understand the purpose of Drakko killing all his mates, she did.
She more than anyone wanted Drakko to bring back Agatha because to her, Agatha was more than a friend.

In fact, she was a sister to her and they shared every little thing together.

So hearing this news made her emotions to skyrocket.
No one deserveed to replace Agatha!

“Move” she shouted at the man pushing him aside and storming out of the room towards the room designated for Agatha and just as he said, Red was in the room.
Looking at her figure now, her rage increased.

“You!” She shouted attracting Red’s attention making her to turn to her and before she could clearly see who was approaching her, a slap was given to her face.

“How dare you stay in this room?” Said cerci to her.
Red coiled her fingers into tight fists and seeing it was cerci, she held herself gritting her teeth internally staring at her.

“What are you looking at?”

“You” she answered making cerci to scoff at her nerves.

“Who do you think you are? You aren’t supposed to be here” at that she pulled Red by the arm yanking her out of the room.
