RED AND THE ALPHA : CHAPTER 31 – THE END

Moment’s later, Drakko returned agreeing to their terms and soon after Poco was led into the room with herbs and other supplies she would need for her treatment.

After hours of waiting, the door was pushed open and poco was seen over at the other end. Immediately Drakko approached her but she dared not look at him and instead kept her head low as she spoke.

“It is done. She will be fine just give her time to rest” she said before leaving his sight watching as Drakko rushed in to stand by her side.

From the open door way, she saw as the man who once appeared deadly and dangerous now turned calm with worry etched over his face.
Has he moved on so quickly?

Drex came to meet her and she went to him.

Meanwhile back in the room, Drakko stared st Red intently, his heart melting on seeing her stare.

Her lips were pale and Jer cheeks were almost lifeless without colour.
On holding her hand, he could sense the blood rushing into her system once more and her breathing now becoming stable and normal.

Her face was stained with a tear that fell on her cheeks making him recall the words feliz had uttered that she might be in pain.

Brushing the tears away from her cheeks,he sat close to her holding up hand in a gentle manner.

For long moments, he sat by her side without uttering a single word simply staring at her up until Cedric mind linked him.

“Alpha they are about to leave” Cedric informed making Drakko’s brows to crease and leaving Jer sight he went forward to Both poco and alpha drex.

“Leaving so soon?” He asked with a brow raised over the other.

“Poco has done her part so there’s no need staying” drex said making the look on Drakko face to remain unchanged and just as they were about to take a step away, Drakko people surrounded them with two of them going to get hold of poco hands.

“What’s the meaning of this?”

“What does it look like? Firstly, your mother lied to us all,!masterminding the death of my mates and ran away.

Secondly, you poisoned my mate almost leading to her death and thirdly, you came to me to have a deal where you both go Scot free?

Do you take me for a fool?” He growled now annoyed, his eyes glaring daggers them.

“You are an alpha and you are known to not go back on your words” said drex taking a stand.

Knowing Drakko for years, he knew he wasn’t one to go back on his word up until now.

“Indeed I am. Let’s make a deal”

“What deal?” Drex asked with his brows furrowed in confusion.

“Give me poco and I’ll let your pack members survive.
As we speak, my people have gone ahead to infiltrate your home.
And with just a word from me, I’ll reign down terror on them” he said.

“You can’t possibly do that”

“But I can. In my moment of thinking about your deal, I thought about this plan.

My ego is so great that I can’t possibly let your dear mother go.
You have three seconds to think”

Just then, A phone call was made to drex and listening to what the other person had uttered, his brows furrowed deeply making his gaze at Drakko to turn sharp.

Indeed his words were true. Hanging the call in annoyance he spoke.

“Do you think I won’t fight?”

“I know you will but can you really win against me? You’ll only end up losing and even more so losing your mother.
