Vanessa immediately pushed Valentino off from herself
“F**k” she groaned and wiped her lips before getting up. She looked at Valentino on the floor,he was still unconscious
“How come he’s so dumb to wait in the snow? If he wants to die young,he should just go somewhere else and not here” She scoffed and started pulling him up till she was able to drop him on the couch
“Gosh!!” She stretched her arms and them touched his forehead,he was so cold.
She immediately turned on the living room heater,she went upstairs and returned with a duvet,then she covered him up.
“Annoying Jerk,can’t believe I’m doing this” She raised her hand toward his face as if to slap him but then changed her mind
She squatted beside the couch,staring at Valentino’s innocent look while sleeping.
“Jerk” she mumbled and then touched his forehead,he was getting better than usual
“Thank goodness” She exhaled.
Suddenly,Valentino’s phone buzzed four times repeatedly. Vanessa took his phone
She found about ten missed call on his phone from his friends
💌 Hey you bastard! Where the f**k are you?!!
That’s from Reed
💌 Are you insane? Why the hell aren’t you picking your calls!!
From Terence
💌 If you don’t answer the next call,I’m calling Mrs Tucker
From Virgil
Series of messages from then kept coming in which was so funny to Vanessa.
“Are they all crazy?” She chuckled
Just then,the phone rang again. This time it’s from Reed,she swiped green and answered the call.
“Where are you?!” Reed yelled
“Don’t spoil my ear” Vanessa said and there was silence
“Vanessa?” Reed asked after the one minute silence
“Your friend is here,come take him” She said and hanged up

WHITE MANSION
“What is it? Why are you looking so dead and shock?” Virgil asked
“Vanessa answered Tino’s call and told me to come and take him” Reed said
“What?!” Terence and Virgil shouted
Reed immediately got up
“Let’s go” he said
“Seriously,isn’t this suspicious? Is he dead?” Virgil asked
Reed and Terence glared at him
“Kidding” Virgil grinned
They all went outside and entered the car,Terence drove the car out of the compound.

Vanessa sipped from the strawberry drink in her hand while watching Valentino who was sleeping soundly on the couch.
“Gosh,where are they?” She groaned and checked the time
Just then,she heard the door bell and she immediately got up,she went to open the door revealing the boys.
“Is he really here?” Reed asked as if to be sure
Vanessa nodded and opened the door more widely
“What the f**k happened to him?” Terence asked as they walked over to him
Reed touched Valentino’s head and faced Vanessa
“How come you found him?” He asked
“I didn’t find him,I met him by the door,in the snow” Vanessa said
“What?!” They shouted and she rolled her eyes
“Can you just take him and leave? It’s late already” Vanessa said
“Gosh,I feel like slapping him” Virgil said as he carried Valentino on his back
“Well,thank you for taking care of him,goodnight” Reed smiled at Vanessa and she nodded,watching them as they went out
“Where’s Gigi?” Terence asked
“Not home” Vanessa replied
“Oh” Terence muttered and also went out.
Vanessa groaned out and locked the door,she went upstairs and entered her room. She undressed and went into the bathroom.
She turned on the shower and almost immediately the scene where Valentino’s lips met with hers replayed in her head and she screamed
She began scrubbing her lips with a finger
After few minutes in the bathroom,she returned to the bedroom.
“Calm down Vanessa,he doesn’t even know and besides,that is not considered as a kiss right? It was just an accident and only our lips met….that doesn’t change the fact that my lips have never touched another lips!!!!! Why him!!!!” She screamed out and fell on the bed.
He kept trying to calm herself down.

ORANGE MANSION
Angelique was on the bed,rolling from one side to another,she was so restless and the sleep isn’t coming.
“Gosh” She mumbled and sat up on the bed,her mind went to Erica,since the kiss,they never got the chance to talk and it was killing her,was it a mistake?
She was still thinking when suddenly she heard a knock on the door,she kept quiet and the knock came again
“Who is it?” She asked
“Erica” the voice said and her eyes widened.
She got down from the bed and walked slowly to the door,she opened and Erica came in
“That was really slow” She said
Angelique closed the door and faced her
“Why are you here?” She asked
“You’re avoiding me” Erica said
“No I’m not,we are talking right now aren’t we?” Angelique said
“Are you mad at me?” Erica asked
“Of course not,I’m not” Angelique chuckled
“I’m talking about the kiss” Erica said and Angelique bite her lips then she looked up
“Was that a mistake?” She asked
“No it wasn’t” Erica immediately said
Angelique nodded and took her bottom lip in,Erica’s eyes followed them.
“Honestly” she said and Angelique raised her brows
“I want to do it again” Erica said and moved closer to her,she touched her cheek and Angelique raised her head since Erica is a bit taller than her,this time she made the first move and their lips met.
Erica immediately reciprocated and kissed her deeply,her hand all over her face. Angelique ran her fingers into Erica’s short hair as the kiss grew more deep. Erica pulled her on the bed and got on top before reconnecting their lips again,she slides in her hand under Angelique’s nightie and squeezed her boobs
“Hmm” Angelique moaned
Erica broke the kiss and brought out her hand
“Why did you stop?” Angelique asked
“It’s late” Erica replied
“So,goodnight?”
“Yeah” Erica smiled at her and gave her one last peck before going out of the room.

NEXT MORNING
“Ahhhhhh!!!!! No!!!!! Please!!!!!” Vanessa screamed out from her sleep,panting heavily as she finally opened her eyes. Her body was covered up with sweats.
She immediately hugged a pillow to herself,her lips were trembling and her whole body was shaking. She’s been having the nightmares since she was a kid and strangely they only got worse as she grew up
Vanessa sat down there for few minutes before realizing that it’s actually morning already. She let go of the pillow and checked the time,it’s almost 10am and the seminar starts by 10.
“Oh no” she rushed out of bed and was about rushing into the bathroom when she saw a note on her table,she took it immediately. It’s from Gigi,she actually left without waking Vanessa up because she was in a deep sleep
“Can’t believe she went to school already” Vanessa squeezed the note and ran into the bathroom.

LECTURE HALL
Valentino kept staring at the hall entrance waiting for when Vanessa would come in,the class would start in just two minutes and it’s rare for her to miss classes. His worries even grew more since Gigi is in class already
‘Is she okay??’ He thought inwardly
“Gosh,I’m tired of waiting. We should have come so early” Virgil complained
“It’s Valentino’s fault” Terence scoffed
“You should habe just stayed back” Valentino said and Reed pushed his head
“You insisted that we come together,ungrateful idiot. Just tell us that you’re coming to meet Vanessa” Reed said
“Whoaaa” Terence and Virgil grinned
Valentino scoffed but just then,Vanessa walked in and his eyes followed her till she sat down just beside Angelique
Almost immediately,Prof Anna walked into the hall
“Morning students” she said excitedly
“As you all know,we have a very important guest today,and I am so happy to welcome…The brilliant female general attorney,Mrs Noel” She said and the students began clapping
Attorney Noel walked in and some students who recognized her screamed out
“Oh my gosh,Vanessa it’s my role model!!” Angelique screamed and Vanessa smiled
“I also know her,she’s really amazing” Vanessa said
🎙Hello everyone
Attorney Noel waved with pretty smiles on her face.
Prof Anna moved aside
🎙 It’s my pleasure meeting you all,as I was introduced…..I’m the an Attorney General,and I’m sure you know what that means. I was once a successful Barrister but now more than that
The students clapped
🎙 I actually have a son here

🎙 Maybe you know who he is,Giovanni Noel
The students all gasped
🗣 Oh my gosh!

“Wow,no wonder he’s so f**king smart” Erica muttered
“I know right? Now I’m jealous” Quinn said
🎙 Without wasting time,let’s proceed. So the main reason why I’m here is to enlighten you more on criminal cases and I would also like to know how experienced you are so far, I have a clip here to show you.
Prof Anna turned on the smart projector and the video clip started playing.

The whole hall was silent after that as everyone focused on the video playing.

Attorney Noel stopped the video

“Well,I don’t think there’s much to say. The evidence is right before us that the eldest son is nothing but a murderer,defending him might be useless” She rolled her eyes and sat down
Attorney Noel chuckled
🎙 She’s right,defending such case with a clear evidence might or is actually useless. But as you all know,things don’t work like that here. Next…..As a defendant..how do you think you’re gonna take care of a case like this?
Few students raised their hands but Vanessa didn’t move
🎙 You there
Attorney Noel pointed at Vanessa and she stood up
🎙 Tell us if you’re chosen as the defendant,how will you take care of it??
“Uhm…..By the looks of things,defending might not really change anything coz everything in this video is clear,he might still end up going to jail or getting killed. But as a defendant…it’s my responsibility to take care of it. Like,why did he do that? Why would he kill his family? I don’t think there’s any action without a reason,is he mentally stable?? We might need to find out……..
Attorney Noel suddenly started clapping and Vanessa kept quiet
🎙 Wow,just wow. Do you all know why I’m clapping?!
“No!!”
🎙 It’s because….the video we just watched,the murderer we all watched is actually a mad man
Everyone gasped
🎙 Or should I just use the word mentally unstable?? Right,back then,when this happened. I was a the prosecutor and I really didn’t care finding out what the hell was going on,all I cared about was the evidence….well….I ended up losing the case
The students all laughed,including Attorney Noel. Except Becky who was fuming with anger.

AFTER CLASS
The students all walked out of the class one after the other,the class ended up taking more hours than they thought
“Hey pumpkin,I said I’m sorry. I just didn’t want to disturb your sleep” Gigi groaned
“Seriously? You know I don’t joke with things like this,I missed all my classes yesterday and expect me to repeat the same,oh please” Vanessa scoffed
“I’m sorry!!” Gigi hugged her
“Don’t hug me,I might pass out” Vanessa said
“So am I forgiven?” Gigi asked
“Cook for me” Vanessa bashed her lashes cutely
“Cook? Like something like cereal?” Gigi asked and Vanessa frowned
“What do you mean by cereal?”
“Come on,you know we are not even allowed to cook” Gigi said
“Then I will follow you to your parents house and you will do the cooking” Vanessa grinned
“Let’s break up” Gigi muttered and walked out of the hall
Vanessa laughed and also followed her
Outside she saw Attorney Noel and Paige holding her,they were both having a conversation and seems they know each other really well,soon Giovanni also showed up with them. Vanessa kept on staring at them,Giovanni suddenly looked up and their eyes met but immediately Vanessa turned and walked away.
Valentino who was staring at them quickly followed Vanessa.
“Nessa!” He called and caught up with her,he stopped in front of her
Vanessa looked up
“What is it?” She asked
“Last night” Valentino muttered and her eyes widened
‘Don’t tell me he remembered how our lips met!! Don’t tell me!!’ She screamed in her head.
“Thank you” Valentina said and she exhaled
“So,I was wondering if…..you wanna have lunch with me” He asked but Vanessa only stood there without saying a word
She was about saying something when Becky came over and kissed Valentino right in front of her,he immediately broke the kiss but Vanessa already walked away
“I missed you” Becky said and touched his chest
“Stop” Valentino said,staring at Vanessa’s back
Becky grabbed his face and kissed him again
Valentino pushed her off forcefully
“What the f**k are you doing?!” He yells
“I’m doing what we’ve always done!! Don’t f**king yell st me!! I miss you so badly and I want you right now that’s it!” Becky yelled back
Valentino glared at her and walked away

RESTROOM
Gigi turned off the water when she finished washing her face
“Gosh,I feel so alive!” She exhaled and walked out
“Boom!” Someone appeared in front of her and she almost screamed until she saw Terence
“Hey!!” She yelled and Terence smiled
“What the f**k are you doing in ladies restroom? They might think you’re a pervert” Gigi said and Terence looked up
He waved at some of the girls and they almost fainted
“I think it’s the opposite” He grinned at Gigi
“Then you must be proud,have you been following me?” Gigi asked as they walked out
“You’ve been avoiding me” Terence said
“No” Gigi muttered
“Do you think we slept on the bed together?” Terence asked and Gigi frowned
“Trust me,I slept in Reed’s room. Not by your side,so unfortunate I still got punished for it” Terence muttered
“Does it still hurt?” Gigi asked
“Do you wanna check?” Terence smirked
“I hate you!” Gigi hit his chest and he laughed
“Just joking,so just buy me lunch and we are even” He said
“Fine,follow me” Gigi said and he smiled

Vanessa was on her way to the study lounge,she was passing through the corridor which lead to the lounge,a Lollipop candy in her mouth while she hum to a song. She was still walking when suddenly someone pulled her into an empty class. She looked up and it was Giovanni.
“Vee” He called and Vanessa removed the candy from her mouth
“Vanni” She called
“I’ve been calling you but you ignored my calls” He said and Vanessa looked down
“You didn’t tell me you have a girlfriend” She muttered
“Girlfriend?” Giovanni asked
“Earlier….Paige…..”
“She’s my ex girlfriend” Giovanni cut in
“But….she’s quite close with your mom” Vanessa said
“That’s because,she doesn’t know about our break up. She thinks we are still dating” Giovanni said and Vanessa nodded
“Was that why you didn’t answer my calls?” He asked
“Why should I answer someone else boyfriend’s Call?” She scoffed and Giovanni chuckled
He cupped her hair behind her ears
“You look so cute” he muttered and they both maintained gazes,Giovanni’s eyes fell on her lips
Meanwhile,Valentino was on his way to the lounge when he suddenly saw them,Giovanni was about kissing Vanessa,his eyes widened and he entered the class without thinking twice.
Vanessa turned and Giovanni also looked up with a frown to see the jerk who just spoiled his chance,his gaze hardened when he saw Valentino.
“Hey Nessa,I’ve been looking for you. We don’t have enough time remember?” He said and grabbed her hand
Giovanni immediately disconnected their hands and pushed Valentino off
“I hate it when you touch her!” he yelled
Valentino also pushed him even more harder
“I hate it when you touch her too!!” He yelled back
Vanessa only watched in confusion as they both glared at each other
