“Time out!!!!!” Mika yelled as Delilah fliped the sign….. they’re officially closed for the day
“God!, I’m so fùcking tired…” Delilah mumbles as she strode towards Mika, sitting across the counter as Mika was sipping from soda…. she actually went over to Jasmine’s house in the morning and took five of them
“You are not as tired as I am, I feel like I’m going to break in half” Mika retorted as Delilah pouted her lips
“Can I have a soda?” Delilah asked and Mika gave her one immediately
“Thanks” Delilah acknowledged, opening the can as she drinks from it ” things became really difficult ever since Jasper and Avia stopped coming, it’s been close to two weeks now and no single trace of them, I wonder if they’re safe” Delilah pointed out worriedly
“I’m sure they’re….who cares?” Mika shrugged her shoulders and Delilah nods as Roland stepped out of the kitchen
“You girls ready to go home?, I’m beat….” Roland asked as Delilah’s eyes trails towards his direction
“Yeah, we could take a bus together… right Delilah?” Mika asked and no answer came, Delilah was still staring at Roland subconsciously as a tap landed on her arm, she jolted and faced Mika
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention” Delilah mumbles as she looks at Roland who seems to be avoiding her
“I was asking if you are going to take a bus with us?” Mika asked again and Delilah scratches her eyes
“Nah, I will sort myself out, you guys can run along” Delilah mumbles and Mika nod
Roland was already standing in front of the exit as Mika walked up to him
“We could stop by at my place” Roland offered as they started leaving and Delilah’s ears twitched
“That would be great, I will finally get the chance to finish those macarons you’ve been hiding from me” Mika pointed out and they started laughing
“I would also love to come…..I love macarons” Delilah called out as she trails behind them
“I thought you said you were going to sort yourself out?” Roland asked with a strained voice, he was obviously displeased about her coming with them
“It’s fine if you don’t want me to come, good bye” Delilah said with a sad pout as she turned around but Mika was quick enough to stop her
“Roland, don’t be an àsshole, you idiot…….if she wants to come then it’s okay” Mika assured and Delilah’s eyes lit up
“Seriously?” Delilah asked
“Whatever…. I’m out” Roland scoffed before walking away….. Mika saw the sadness in Delilah’s eyes and scoops her in her arms as they walked behind Roland
“He’s going to come around, don’t be sad….. he’s still a little bit mad about what happened” Mika said and Delilah looks at her
“I fúcked up…..I really shouldn’t have accused him of something he knows nothing about, you guys don’t even like each other….
I feel like a fool” Delilah voiced out and Mika gulped down as she looks away
“Let’s catch up with him, he’s walking pretty fast” Mika said, diving the topic as they followed Roland behind
