CHAPTER 138

“Let’s say she has been reaching out to more in secret and I’m using it to my advantage, it’s easy to get things out of her without trying hard because she’s sulking over my Mom’s ruthless treatment towards me when I was….. you know, little” Jasper pointed out, remembering his encounter with Gina, his younger sister he saw some days ago,

they actually bumped into each other in front of the mall and from there, she started stalking him and trying to know more about him and why he left, he smartly turned it against her and she has been feeding him informations

“So, are we just going to sit back and relax?” Laurence asked with his hands sprawled out in a questioning manner

“Exactly, my friend…… let’s just fade out for a while, everything is coming back to us” Jasper said confidently

“What about my phone?” Laurence asked slightly annoyed

“Forget about your goddamn phone, she can have it, besides we are aiming for something bigger so just chill, okay?” Jasper said with a smirk and Laurence exhaled

“Okay……I will just chill” he said almost unsure but Jasper seems to have everything figured out, it’s best if they lay low for a while

“HUD’S BAR?” Gina said tentivly as she stood in front of her usual drink spot, ever since she landed in Nevada five months ago, this is the place she usually drinks her life away,

she remembered drinking to stuptor only to wake up with a banging headache and a angry cousin, Alfred said a boy named Hudson called him with her phone and reported her drunken state, and now thinking about it….. he’s not the bartender but rather he owns the place, and how did he unlock her phone?

It’s middle in the afternoon and she snuck out of work, giving Mika some crazy excuse just so she could come here and thank Hudson for saving her sorry àss last night, she barely remember anything if not for Alfred who told her the whole ordeal……at least she remembers what he looks like, that should do

She strode towards her same sitting spot, the place is not usually crowded during the day so it was easy getting inside, this rush of adrenaline running through her as she got closer to the counter, is it weird that she’s been thinking about what happened last night, although she may have been drunk but he was the first person to ever listen to her…… talk to her and well maybe she’s just overthinking things

She got to the counter and hopped on her favorite stool, dangling her legs as she hollers with a smile but that smile vanished almost immediately as a brunnet lady showed up, her greasy smile plastering on her face, complimenting her bubble like cheeks with brown eyes…… worst face compartment ever!!!!

Okay, it’s not like the lady is ugly, maybe it’s because Delilah is super disappointed that Hudson, her savior isn’t the one standing in front of her in all of his magnificent gloriousness, she can still make out his straight eyebrows…. pointed nose….demin gray eyes and his body structure is to die for….. literally

“What would you like to order?” The female bartender’s voice broke her train of thoughts as she looks at her

“I was hoping if Hudson is here, I would love to see him” Delilah’s said and she couldn’t help but notice the “are you for real?” eyes that the lady throwed at her

“He’s actually the owner of this place and he’s not around…. better luck next time” the lady said in a rigid tone as she walks back in and Delilah couldn’t help but marvel at the guts of the pesky lady

“Loser….” Delilah huffed angrily, it’s as if the disappointment is taking a toll on her, she jumped off the stool and grabbed her bag roughly, some people can be really rude and this arrogant server just added to her already sore mood,

she spent all morning thinking about this place and the Greek god in it but now she doesn’t even get to see his face, thinking about it now…… this is the first time she’s fumbling on someone that isn’t Roland?

What?……

Her walk towards the exit was ragged….. she’s to angry to notice anything as she pulled the glass door irritatedly and her whole body came in contact with a hard surface….. making her jolt backwards

“What the…..” her remaining words got stucked in the back of her arching throat as she looks up, relief, excitement and confusion radiating on her skin as he slowly let’s go of her

“Ouuu, the devil decides to pay me a visit again, yes?” His words sent shivers down her spine as she continues to look up at his gorgeously intimidating figure
