CHAPTER 142

Noah was standing beside her with a funny face, Mika and Roland had their eyes widened while Delilah and her supposed friend were also looking at us from the kitchen entrance, and that’s when I realized that everyone has been staring at us but I don’t give a fúck, I couldn’t care less either….

“Y’all should leave please……. more reason why I’d rather spend my birthday locked up with Jayson” Jasmine whined as she hugs me with a sad pout……her lips were red due to my assault….hey, it’s a good assault and she loves it

“Ouch!, I see Jayson has successfully stolen my best friend” Mika rasped with a playful glare

“You have Roland, don’t you?……. don’t even fùcking deny it” I smriked as Mika’s mouth hangs open slightly, she looks flushed and slightly red as she clamps her lips shut

“Come on Jasmine, you have to get ready for the big surprise” Avia announced as she pulled Jasmine off me, I could have easily stopped Avia but Jasmine needs to get ready and so do I

“Hey!, Let me go, you fun killer!” Jasmine half yelled as Mika stood up in a haste and jugged upstairs, Delilah giggled as her strange friend pecks her forehead she she followed the girls upstairs too……. Delilah seems more of a love sick bastard than actually a friend to this guy

“You look tensed Roland, did I say something wrong?” I asked and Roland shift uncomfortably on the couch, Noah and the strange guy noticed it too and they moved closer

“Nah, it’s cool” Roland breathe out but the stuffiness in his voice probed me further

“From my calculations, I think my reluctant friend here is in love with Mika…….” Noah pointed out and Roland shot his head up

“I’m not in love with her!” Roland snapped harder than intended and that only proves a point

I might not know much about Roland, Delilah or Mika but from the little talks Jasmine forces me to listen, I’ve come to realize that the three of them were stuck in a really tight love triangle…..a nasty one at that that almost killed Mika but Delilah seems to have moved on….. judging from the stranger she’s been giggling around and stealing kisses with…..urg!

“You look tensed” Noah pointed out again…..god!…..I love how observant Noah gets once his poker sides turn in……

“I’m just stressed” Roland retorted and the strange guy rolled his eyes

“Dude, you had two girls on chokehold well, I would say one since Delilah is no longer bothering you, I think she’s found someone else” I teased

“And that someone would be me, well I’ve actually had feelings for Delilah ever since I spotted her drinking her brains out in my bar some months ago” the strange guy said and Roland frowned at him

“Do we even know you?” Roland asked with a disgusted look

“Hudson….my name is Hudson and yep, you don’t need to know me because I’m not exactly a huge fan of what you did to Delilah….. she deserves someone better, someone who doesn’t humiliates her at the slightest opportunity he gets……” Hudson snearled as his smile morphed into a glare

“What the actual fúck is wrong with you, man!?” Roland vibrated as he charges forward but I pulled him back….. Hudson looks unfazed as he continues glaring at Roland

“We can’t be caught fighting on Jasmine’s birthday, get your shîts together” Noah warned

“He shouldn’t have been allowed access to this place, who are you to talk shîts about me?” Roland snapped, this is the first time I’ve seen him been…… violent?

Okay, maybe he’s not as calm as I thought he is

“You don’t even feel any ounce of shame, you are toying with both girls feelings, well…. Delilah is off the chart because she’s mine now, you’ve made her cry enough” Hudson pointed out frantically while Noah and I just watched.
