CHAPTER 65

Jasmine’s Pov

“Oh my Jarred, you are so funny!” I said as we both laughed heartily to his story and I tried to suppress my laughter

Honestly, Jarred is a really good person and he’s fun too….. he’s from Las Vegas and he’s also into different businesses…..turns out he’s a big shares holder with Mrs Mantinda’s clothing brand

He stopped laughing for a minute as he stared at my finger

“You are married?” He asked

“Yes, Jayson Bartle is my husband” I answered and I saw the disappointment in his eyes….. that’s weird

“I guess I should mind the way I flirt with you since you are married to my business associate’s son” he said and I chuckled

The music suddenly stopped playing as everywhere went silent, I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked around, Mika wasn’t in sight and I realized she must have gone with Alfred

That btch!

“Come on, I can take you home” Jarred offered as he took my hands and I smiled at him lightly

“You have one second to take your hands off her’s or else you want to become one handed” Jayson’s voice pierced through the room as I stood numbed….. Jarred slowly let go of my hand as Jayson took heavy strides towards me……he grabbed my hands and started pulling me out of the room

“Jayson stop this madness, people are watching us!!!” I half yelled but it all fell on deaf ears as we got out, I stopped moving and he glared at me

“If you don’t start walking, I’m going to make you” he said and I scoffed….. looking away as a mild gasp escaped my lips…….he threw me over his shoulder and I couldn’t hide my shock as people outside started looking at us….I covered my face for a minute before opening my eyes again.

“Let me go!!!, put me down!!!” I yelled as I kicked my legs and hit his back repeatedly but he didn’t budge

And I did the next thing that came to my mind as I sinked my teeth on his middle back and a hard smack landed on my butt

“Ouch!!!! Jayson!!!!!!….. you mainac!!” I groaned as my butt stinged

He got to his car and like a peice of paper, I was inside the car….I couldn’t recollect myself as he shut the door….I banged repeatedly as I tried to open it but it was locked

He got to the other side and entered, a looks at me and I saw anger flashed in his eyes…..why is he mad?

And that’s when it hits me, he doesn’t like me dressing like this, I gulped down as we drove back home, yeah….I called it home because that’s where I live and this annoying possessive man is making me go crazy

The ride back was silent, and we got home……he didn’t say a word…..I know he’s angry as he opened my side of the door

“Lets go inside” he said coldly and I folded my hands across my chest……he hissed in irritation as he pulled me up and before I knew it he carried me in on his shoulders again with ease…. damn, this man won’t be the end of me!!!

“Put me down!!!!” I yelled as we got in, he shut the door and dropped me, my feet touched the ground and I staggered as I felt my vision slightly blurry due to the way he carried me

“What is wrong with you!!!” I yelled and he turned sharply at me

“I told you about your dressing and how much I hate it!, I can’t stand you going out like that and you know it but you choose to defy me!” He snapped and I gulped down emptiness….. this man is something else

“It’s my body and not yours!, Stop being fking possessive” I said angrily and he started leaving

“Jarred is way better than you!, He’s calm and collective and I bet he’s a great kisser too that’s why you are just jealous!!!!” I said before I could stop myself and he stopped dead on his tracks

“What did you just say?” He asked and he started walking towards me and I stood my ground

“You heard me and why are you being like this!, You asked me to stay outta your way, why are you complicating things?” I yelled and he was now inches apart from me

“Because you are mine!!, no one else has the right to look at you the way I do…. you are mine and mine alone!!” He yells again and I flinched….. different emotions surging through me as I stared at the hurt in his eyes….I haven’t seen this expression on him before…. it’s different, it’s new…. it’s something I’m wowed to see.
