CHAPTER 72

“Seriously Jayson, it’s important, please can you spare a few minutes, please” I said stopping him but instead a peck landed on my lips as he proceeds to kiss my forehead afterwards

“Once I’m back I promise to listen” he said and I couldn’t say anything else as he walked out, I griped my hands together as I slowly walked towards the couch

I need to talk to someone about this, I’m dying in silence

I brought out my phone and dails Mika’s number but instead the door bell rang and I opted to open it immediately, it can’t possibly be Jayson because he doesn’t use the door bell

“Bîtch, longest time you fùcking betrayal!” Mika snapped playfully as she brushed past me, I stood numbed with my phone on my ear and her’s started ringing immediately, she threw me a stank look before ending the call

“Ummm, I believe I should be the one angry, you fùcking ditched me and ran away with Alfred” I snapped too and she flops on the couch

“Alfred?, More of like the guy who was sent to take my life!” She exclaimed and I gasped, walking towards her immediately

“What in the hell’s name are you talking about?” I trailed off and she sits down facing me comfortably

“After we separated, he asked me why this party is so boring and I was like yeah it is so he suggested we stepped out for a ride which I foolishly agreed to and before I knew it, he stopped in the middle of nowhere and said he wanted to get something, I waited for an hour but couldn’t find him, luckily Roland’s call came in so I told him what happened” she said and took in deep breaths as she stared at me, I nodded for her to continue

“He cussed out and asked for my location which I turned on, immediately after that I felt someone tap me and when I turned the person griped my neck and started straggling me, it was Alfred!…..

I saw he was keen on killing me so I pretended to be dead and he flings me, took a picture and kicked me severally before walking away, Roland came and saved me…..

I could have actually died, gurl” she narrated and my mouth was wide open as words couldn’t describe how shocked I am

“Do you have any idea who sent him?” I asked

“Yes I do, as a matter of fact I know the person who sent him” she said and I stroked my chin thoughtfully

“Who’s that?” I furthered

“Some crazy bîtch named Delilah, she wants Roland and is bent on taking me out, I don’t even like Roland, she can have him but I’m definitely going to kill her before she kills me” she said and I chuckled

“You love Roland, you are just being stubborn” I said with a smile and she shook her head

“I’m dead serious, I don’t love him, we are just friends” she said with a funny face and I laughed out

“I bet that Delilah girl will almost faint once she sees you alive” I said and she chuckles

“You bet!, let’s go out sometime, not s freakish party though, just normal outting, I miss my bestie” Mika pouted and I nod.
