CHAPTER 77

“We noticed the weather and decided to back it to the generator just Incase” he said and I simply walked in

“Be fast about it!!!” I yelled as I entered and darkness eglofed the entire living room, I took a few steps to observe and I figured out Jasmine isn’t in the living room so I furged upstairs

My heart acceleration getting out of control as I climbed hasteningly, lossening my tie so I could breathe properly as I felt air fleeing off….I heard a thud and my heart skipped a beat…the bad kind of beat as I hurriedly went upstairs

“Jayson, is that you” Jasmine’s cute yet scared voice said and I paused for a minute, wondering the noise was coming from

“Star, I’m right here, just hold on” I said but I guess she didn’t hear me because I heard another panic cry as she was sniffing madd… she’s obviously scared to the core…the rain intensified and she shrikes

“Jay!, say something, you are scaring me!!!” She yelled and I quickly pulled out my phone, turning on the light as I heard her struggling whimpers, is she fighting with someone?

I hurriedly got to the hallway and her eyes met mine, she shook her head repeatedly as she suddenly covers her ears, yelling out her lungs as she fell down flat on the ground

“Jasmine!!!” I yelled as well, hurrying towards her as the lights finally came on, she was sweating profusely, despite the heavy rain, her temperature could boil an egg

I tossed my phone aside as I cupped her in my arms, I checked her pulse and luckily she’s still breathing, her hair was drenched in sweat, her whole body was sloppy….

“What the fúck happened to you, Star?” I asked rehetoricaly as I carried her and placed her on the bed, she screeches her face in hurt, I could clearly see her struggling with some unexplainable pain, her lungs moving up and down as she swallows hard, soft whimpers escaping her lips as I watched her….my Star is in pains and I have no fùcking idea on what’s going on

I scratched my head as I dashed into the bathroom, soaking up a towel in water as I squeezed it hard, folding it in a rectangle shape and placed it on her forehead, she jerked a little as I sat besides her….her body was hot, extremely hot and she’s shivering hard

I rubbed my forehead as confusion laced through me, slowly I took her shaky hands in mine, caressing it gently as she breaths heavily, she subconsciously turned her head sideways for about five seconds and finally calmed down a little….her grip tightened on mine as she stopped whimpering, rather she snuggled up to me

“Jayson?” She called half unconsciously and as her eyes flutters a bit, barely able to keep them open and I layed besides her….her weak eyes still on mine as she released cold breathes, the heavy rain making her shiver despite the fact that she’s burning hot

“I’m right here Star” I managed to say and she smiles before snuggling deeper, resting her body on my as I opened my arms wide enough for her petite body to fit in, caging her in my warmth

“Don’t leave me alone…. don’t go anywhere, please” she pouted with her eyes closed and I kissed her forehead reassuringly, locking my grip on her as she layed sideways, stuffing her face in my chest as a small smile plastered on her face

I watched her carefully, observing the way her whole body heaved up and down slowly and her temperature is getting better….ish

I took the towel off and tossed it aside, grabbing the back of her head as inhaled her sweet hair scent, watching her sleep peacefully, the heavy rain drowning her soft breaths.

She’s mine, mine to touch, hold, love and own…. completely
