SILENT MOANS : CHAPTERS 81 – 90
“Delilah doesn’t want to talk to you either, right?” Mika narrowed her eyes at Delilah who finally raised her head and their faces met
“I don’t want to talk to you Roland, and I’m certainly not interested in helping you” Delilah said with difficulty and Mika grinned as Roland clicked his tongue
“I’m definitely going to find out what’s going on between the both of you, you can’t fool me” Roland said with a side smile as he left and Delilah covered her face with both hands
“It hurts, doesn’t it?, don’t worry, you will forget about him very soon by the time I’m done with you, he would be the least of your problems” Mika mocked as she caress Delilah’s hair but Delilah was quick enough to slap her hand away
“I’m definitely going to make sure you regret this” Delilah threatened and that only made Mika laughed
“I would love to see you try, I have you trapped, right where I want you and I will decide when this whole thing would be over, so keep your head low and mind the way you talk to me or else…. it’s going to be jail time for you baby girl” Mika said as she dragged each wording out of her mouth with ease, causing Delilah to shiver slightly
Mika is absolutely right, she has her trapped and there’s no escaping, but not for long though
“Don’t get too comfortable… you never know when you are going to let your gaurds down and I will be watching” Delilah said in-between smriks as Mika faked gasped, holding her chest dramatically
“Your IQ, is as small as that of a broken microchip…..if I give two fûcks about your empty threats?, Then your àss would have been in jail” Mika said as she walked away and Delilah tightens her fists as she glared at her retreating figure
Immediately, one hundred and one million ideas in making sure she killed her and empty her corpse in a faraway ditch crossed her mind but only a mischievous grin plastered on her face as she twitches her lips
“I’m watching you” Delilah mumbles silently to herself as a sly smile kissed her lips

“I’m flattered….. don’t get me started on a wanton madness on what I’m planning because I’m not stupid, and hurting my son on purpose is far from it!” Mrs Mantinda’s voice erupts nothing but plain irritation as she twrills on her chair, swinging from side to side as she stared at her friend and business associate
“You made the poor girl sign a fùcking contact to fall in love with your son and then she will just suddenly disappear from his life?, Isn’t that you holding up a sharp knife and piercing your son in the heart?” Flora said and Mrs Mantinda rubbed her forehead
“You see, that’s where you are wrong, she’s not just some poor girl, but rather a very important figure in my son’s life” Mrs Mantinda slowly stood up as she strokes her chin
“Important figure?, You just want your son to die with a broken heart, imagine the hurt Jayson would go through if he descovers that you planned the whole shît and the wedding was actually fake, he’d hang himself or possibly waltz into a moving truck” Flora said nochantlanly and Mrs Mantinda throws her a glare
“That girl, she is also the reason I almost lost my son, that girl is a very important part of my son and somehow fate decided to bring her to me and I figured I have to make the best out of it” Mrs Mantinda said with a smirk and Flora furrows her eyebrows, making both of them stand in a questioning manner
“Jasmine Corey?” Flora asked as her eyes almost popped out, she gasped inwardly covering her mouth with both hands…..”you knew all along but pretended not to?, You are so cunning! and damn she’s changed so much” Flora continues as an evident shock surged through her
“It’s a contract marriage alright, I did it to bring them closer and it’s working effortlessly” Mrs Mantinda said and Flora claps her hands together but a frown immediately replaced her excitement
“Don’t you think you should call off the contract?,” Flora asked and Mrs Mantinda smriks
“Jasmine would do it”
“But I don’t she would” Flora challenges
“She’s going to if she truly loves my son” Mrs Mantinda said and Flora lips parted slightly as realization hits her
“Does she know her past relationship with Jayson?” Flora asked mindlessly
“If she does then she wouldn’t have signed the contract in the first place” Mrs Mantinda said and Flora frowns
“You are just using the girl to fill up your son’s emptiness!…. that’s not fair!” Flora busted out in sudden anger
“Life isn’t fair Flora, first of all her family accused my husband of attempted murder then she made my son mindlessly fall in love with her, then she suddenly disappeared from his life and crushed him beyond repair, it’s only fair if she also have a taste of her own medicine” Mrs Mantinda said and Flora couldn’t wrap her head around the whole complicated issues
