CHAPTER 91
Jasmine’s Pov
“We are going to die!!!!!!” Mika’s shrill voice pierced through me as I remained frozen at the very spot, my àss glued to the seat as I stared at the car coming at us with insane speed, making sure it’s solely aiming at our car, no way out for us since the steering wheel ripped out and we are stucked
My heart beat crazily against my chest, I’m so surprised the whole world isn’t hearing how loud it is, Mika was yelling at no one in particular, constantly trying to see if there’s anyway way out, but we were trapped
It’s exactly how it happened eighteen years ago, only this time around there’s no rain, the sun was looming as evening approached, I can see them, hauling me out of the car while my dad fiddles with the steering wheel as well, his breathing was rigid, his eyes were swollen and his cheeks were as red as that of a rotten tomato, my mom however wasn’t taking things slightly
“Corey!, stop the damn car, it’s raining heavily and we might die!” My mom’s voice was husky and mushy as I clutched onto her, my little chubby hands on her chest as she cried
“You think I would if I could?, The damn car won’t stop!, Bloody hèll!” He cursed as he fiddles with the steering wheel and my mom rasped in a great amount of air
“Mama?, Where’s dad’s favorite key chains he usually hangs on the top of the front view mirror?” I suddenly blurted even though we were in the middle of dying
“This isn’t the time to worry about some stupid key…..” My mom words got shortened as she blinks repeatedly, she widened her eyes and grabbed my dad’s shoulders in horror!
“This isn’t our car Corey!, we are in the wrong car!” My mom’s voice was filled with loathe and angst as she ruffles her hair
“Fùck it!, This isn’t supposed to be happening, how did we get into the wrong car!” My Dad vibrated as guilt took over my little mind, my eyes were watery and by now I know Jayson and his parents were now…..in our car, maybe it’s all my fault because I caused it, my stubbornness caused it!
“If we’re going to die then I won’t allow my poor angel suffer such cruelty” my mom voiced out as she took off her heels and smashed the side mirror, shattering it as she covers my face, she had a slight cut in the process as she hissed in pain
“Oh no!” My dad fiddles as a huge truck was coming up front with speed, no brakes to stop the car we are in and the steering wheel suddenly stopped working, it became rigid as well
My eyes twitches as the reflection of the huge truck luminated my eyes, my lips parted slightly as my mom jērked me up
“What are you doing!” My dad half yelled as my mom grip tightened on my waist
“Saving my daughter’s life” my mom raspy voice echoed as I struggled to free myself but she pushed my upper body out, of course my weight prevented me from going all the way through but she didn’t give up
“Mama!, Papa!, Don’t leave me!…. please!” I cried but I only saw the painful hurt in their eyes as the speed intensified, my mom closed her eyes shut she pushed me out, I yelled….my throat patched as I hit the ground with a loud thud, hitting my head severely in the process as blood dripped endlessly, I continued rolling as my body bruised on the floor, my pink princess gown completely ruined as I looked up and the next sight shattered me completely
“Mama!!!, Papa!!!!!!” I screamed, I screamed loudly, my heart broke, my lips shaking, my whole body dazed as an overwhelming shock flooded my entire system, watching the truck smashed my parents in the car, I trembled as I stood up, everything was in slow motion as I watched my parents car make a screeching sound and crashed into a tree, the truck didn’t stop
“No, no, no….” I trailed inaudibly as my legs interwined and I fell, I fell hard and bruised my lips….my whole life crumbling before my very eyes as I watched the only people that mattered to me, my mom’s hand poked out of the window as blood dripped from it, I couldn’t see my Dad.
