How can uncle Bob suddenly disappear, Jasper is also missing, that’s weird
I won’t rest until I lay my eyes on them and make sure I kill them, they’re the reasons behind my pain and anger
I sighed as I stepped out of the car, heading for the main building as I saw Mrs Mantinda sitting down with her phone and eye contact glued to her face, she looks up and a smile plastered on her face but I’m not here to exchange pleasantries
“Jasmine, you are here, how have you been?” Mrs Mantinda asked cheerfully
“I’m calling off the contract, I don’t want to have anything to do with your family anymore, I’m done” I announced and Mrs Mantinda slowly stood up
“You can’t just call off the contract Jasmine, it’s court stamped and approved, you can’t back out until it expires and it’s only a few weeks left, why the rush?” Mrs Mantinda asked unfazed and I clicked my tongue
“I don’t care!, I really don’t give two flying ducks about anything, your family have already done enough damage to my life and working with you is the biggest mistake I could ever make but I’m willing to put an end to it” i said with tears and Mrs Mantinda walked closer to me, I tried backing away but I couldn’t
“Think about it honey, remember what I promised to do if you accomplish your mission, I already found you a good laywer, and my sources also told me your uncle is missing but I promise to find him for you, just think about it” Mrs Mantinda coaxed and i stared at her, she might actually have good researchers who could help me track those bastards on time
“Okay then, mind telling me the actual reason my parents warned me to stay away from your family, what transpired years ago that made y’all loggerheads?” I asked and I saw the flash of unbelieve in her eyes before she exhaled deeply
“It was all a misunderstanding, you might want to sit down for this” Mrs Mantinda said and I slowly sat down as Mrs Mantinda joined me, I maintained eye contact
She held my hand as she caress it and I stared at her
“It all started some years ago…..” Mrs Mantinda trailed as Jayson walked in and our gaze travelled towards him, he also paused as he saw me sitting down
What a coincidence?, Why is he here?, Okay, I know it’s his mom’s house but why is he here now?
Oh gawd!
“What’s going on here?” Jayson asked and silence filled the air
I bit my lips as I stared back at Jayson who was now sqauting besides me, now I can’t stay mad at this man when he’s being such a caring bastard!, he’s just to adorable to hurt or leave without, maybe, just maybe I actually have feelings for him
“Thank God you are here son, I think since Jasmine has obviously recovered her memories, it’s time you both know what actually transpired between us” Mrs Mantinda said and I stared at her slowly
