CHAPTER 103

PALACE GARDEN

Jade entered the field to see Louis backing her, she smiled and approached him slowly and he turned back immediately with a flower in his hands.

Her eyes went wide for a seconds and she composed herself.

“What do you want to tell me” she asked.

“Take this” he stretched the flower to her and she slowly collected it.

“What for…..” She asked.

“It yours” he replied

“Is this what you want to tell me” she tilted her head and he sigh loudly. She watched as he moved closer till they were no gap between them.

Jade blinked continuously as his face was closer to hers.

“I’ve been meaning to tell you this but it not that easy to say, I’ve been feeling this way for a while now and I can’t keep it anymore

I feel a strong connection between you and i but I want us to be more than friends” He said as she gasped for breath.

“What feeling is that?” She asked.

“Is Love, from the moment I met you my heart has been whispering your name.

I can’t ignore this feeling jade, it grows each passing time I see you” he blurted and her eyes widened.

“I love you jade” he dropped the bombshell

“He loves me” She said inwardly as her heart jumped in excitement.

“Erm….Louis” She called.

“To be sincere, I’ve also felt the same feeling you had” She said, her voice barely above whispers.

“Seriously!!!!” His eyes gleamed and he hugged her tightly while she hugged him back.

He broke the hug as their eyes were locked on each others, without thinking, he smashed his lips on hers taking her by surprise.

EMPRESS DINING HALL

The moment Aurora entered the hall all eyes fell on her but like she was told, she carried herself with so much confidence as her eyes roam around the room checking every Empress out.

They all look older than her and it’s obvious that she is the youngest of them all.

She walked to the vacant seat at the center as two guards stayed behind her.

“Good evening, Everyone. I’m Aurora, it an honour to be present here with you” She let out a smile before taking the seat.

“It nice meeting you Lady Aurora” one of them said.

“You look pretty, Lady Aurora” Another one said and she smiled.

I can see the rumors are right, she is too young to become the empress” One of them rolled her eyes.

“Emperor Augustus is also young”

“Age does not matter, it how intelligent and brave you are to be qualified” Aurora snapped and the woman scoffed while Aurora cared less.
