ESMERALDA’S CHAMBER

Esmeralda sat in front of her dressing mirror, her mind racing with thoughts of the earlier encounter.

She couldn’t shake off the feeling of triumph and excitement that lingered within her. Her brows furrowed in concentration, she replayed the scene in her head, analyzing every detail.

“Why did he stop? She wondered, her eyes narrowing slightly. Was it not effective enough?” She thought to herself,

She remembers the look on Aurora’s face as she chuckled loudly.

“This is just the tip, Aurora. I’ll do more” she said and laughed.

“That expression is so funny” she chuckled more.

She faced the mirrors and touch her lips, the kiss was everything she had imagined it would be.

“Sweet, I finally taste those lips” she said trumpiantly

“I can’t wait to taste it again” she licked her bottom lips and laughed again falling on her bed as she chuckled more on remembering Aurora’s expression.

NEXT DAY~EMP. AUGUSTUS CHAMBER

Astrid entered the lounge to see Emperor Augustus on his seat and bowing his head slightly.

“Greetings, your highness” he said and Emperor Augustus turned to him.

“Come over here” he said and Astrid moved closer to him. He rolled up a parchment and handed it to Astrid.

“Get that letter and the packages outside to Huaxia palace immediately without delay” he said and Astrid nodded

“If I may ask, your highness, but what are these for” he asked.

“Just send them” Emperor Augustus snapped and Astrid nodded.

“Yes, your highness” he muttered and left the chamber the letter with him.

Immediately he left, someone appeared before him and he looked up to see Alora standing with her hands folded.

“Alora” he called.

“I guess you’ve been spending time with your bride” she chuckled.

“I sense something Alora…..” he changed the topic.

“I know, Malicia has been released” She completed.

“How, I thought father once told me, only one with royal blood could unseal her” he said curiously.

“You should think deeply of who could do such” she muttered and his mind went far.

His eyes widened on realizing “Atlas!!!!” He exclaimed

“Yes, Atlas. He is the only one left apart from I and Sapphire” he gasped.

“Now that you know, deal with it……War is coming soon, stay strong” Alora said and vanished.

Emperor Augustus exhaled loudly as Alora left. “How could he do this” he grinned.

“Didn’t he know the repercussions before doing it” He said to no one in particular.

Thought ran through his mind as he paced tho and fro in his chamber.
