CHAPTER 70B

HUAXIA KINGDOM

PALACE

Emperor Sebastian stood at the window, his gaze fixed on the steady stream of packages flowing into the palace courtyard. His curiosity was piqued, and he couldn’t help but wonder what they contained and who had sent them.

These packages are much??

“What are those? Who sent them?” he asked no one in particular.

Odessa appeared at his side almost instantly, her eyes wide with concern. “Father, some strange packages are here. What are they for? There are so much…”

Emperor Sebastian turned to her, his brow furrowed in confusion. “I’m also confused, Odessa. I have no idea what these packages contain or who sent them.”

Just then, Isa, his personal guard entered into the chamber. “Your highness, we found this paper in one of the packages outside,” he said, bowing low and stretching the parchment to Sebastian.

Sebastian took the parchment, his eyes scanning the contents as he unrolled it. His eyes widened in shock as he read.

Odessa noticed his expression and took a peek at it, Sebastian handed it to her without a word.

Odessa’s eyes scanned the parchment, her face pale and her hand trembling. “Aurora…is getting coronated soon? Impossible!” she gasped, her voice barely audible.

The parchment fell from her hands, and she covered her mouth in shock. “How is she suddenly getting married and coronated, Father? That’s not possible!”

Emperor Sebastian’s face was a mask of disbelief. “How did this happen?” he muttered to himself, his mind reeling with questions.

He had plans on eliminate Emperor Augustus, but this came.

Is Aurora forced to be coronated or she was willing??

His mind was reeling with different thought.

Odessa’s eyes were still wide with shock as she turned to her father. “We’re invited to a dinner feast tomorrow, Father. We’re told to attend.”

Sebastian’s gaze snapped back to his daughter, his expression grim. “Prepare, we’ll be going there,” he muttered.

Odessa was breathing abnormally as she walked out of the chamber, she was still shocked on the revelation.

How did Aurora manage to get the Emperor??

“I’m no longer interested in all these” Emperor Sebastian blurted as Malicia and Atlas turned to him.

“What!!!!!!” They chorused.

“What are you saying, you are no more interested” Atlas flared up.

“I don’t want to be part of this anymore” Emperor Sebastian said.

“How can you say you want to give up, we are already at the peak Sebastian” Malicia voice came dangerously.

“I just want to stop, it useless” he muttered and Malicia used a force to throw him down the floor.

“Stop spitting nonsense, you started this and we must end it together victoriously” Atlas barked.

Sebastian coughed as he sat up. “You dare not give up until we achieve what we want” Malicia spat.

“I won’t hesitate to end you if you try telling anyone about our plans” she added, threatening him.

Emperor Sebastian was just pointless, he started this himself but he can’t end it easily. He was in a very tight spot.

“How is it with the spy” Malicia asked Atlas.

“He hasn’t reported to me” Atlas replied.

“How useless, we should have eliminated Augustus by now but it seems you too are incompetent” Malicia snared.

“I’ll do this myself” she grinned and walked away angrily. Her black long gown following her.
