CHAPTER 63

QUEEN NANA’S CHAMBER

Queen Nana paced back and forth in her lounge, her mind racing with thoughts and worries.

“He is in love with a slave, impossible!!!!” She exclaimed.

She had summoned the shaman, Bora, and was waiting for her arrival.

A maid entered the room, bowing her head and carrying a small tray.

“Here is the tea, Queen Mother,” she said, setting the tray down on a nearby table.

Queen Nana nodded, her eyes fixed on the tea as she sat down in front of the table. She lifted the cup to her lips, sipping the tea slowly as she continued to pace in her mind.

Just then, the shaman, Bora, entered the room. “Greetings, your highness,” she said, bowing her head.

Queen Nana gestured to a seat in front of her. “Sit, bora,” she said, her voice low.

Bora took the seat, her eyes fixed on the Queen Mother. “I know you must be wondering why I called you here so late,” Queen Nana said.

“I knew it must be urgent, so I rushed here,” Bora replied, her eyes filled with understanding.

Queen Nana nodded, her hands clenched together in her lap. “It’s about my son, the Emperor,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t know if he’s crazy, but at this point, I want to ask you something.”

Bora leaned forward, her eyes locked onto the Queen Mother’s. “You can go on, your highness,” she urged.

Queen Nana took a deep breath. “Did the Goddess really change his fate? It seems to be confusing me,” she asked, her eyes searching for answers.

Bora nodded, her face serious. “Yes, she did, and I’m sure his Empress is right beside him,” she replied, her voice firm but respectful.

Queen Nana gasped, her eyes widening in shock. “Why did the Goddess pick a slave as an Empress?” she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

Bora’s face was calm and sincere. “She’s a special being with a soft and kindhearted heart, your highness.

The Goddess must have chose her for a reason” she replied, her eyes filled with a deep understanding.

Queen Nana’s eyes narrowed, “Really!!!!” She exclaimed and Bora nodded.

NEXT MORNING~EMP. SEBASTIAN CHAMBER

Emperor Sebastian walked towards his window to see a bird pierching there, a paper tied to its legs.

He took it and unrolled it to check it’s content.

As he reads his eyes kept widening at each seconds and he gasped.

“Atlas has been locked up” he exclaimed.

“How could he lock his own brother up” he muttered as his mind lingered deep.

He furrowed his brows as he checked the paper again “who could have sent this, is it the spy” he muttered to no one in particular.

He rolled back the paper and dropped it inside his drawer before going out of the chamber.
