Surganah turned away slowly, a frown briefly curling on his face. But it passed just as quickly as it came. He grunted, throwing his cloak over his shoulder.
“Then let it spill. I am ready for the flood.”
And with that, he left the chamber. The heavy stone door slid shut behind him.
The Pot sat alone in the dark, flickering like a dying flame—confused, terrified… and whispering softly, not to Surganah, but to something far older:
“Let the end come… I was never meant to see this day…”

The Chamber of Fire and Blood
The hallway leading to the hidden chamber was lit by flickering torches embedded into the cold, gray stone walls.
The flames cast long shadows behind Surganah and Jeun as they walked, the silence between them thick with unspoken tension.
Surganah walked ahead, his steps confident, arrogant. Jeun followed, his expression calm but fierce, each stride taken with purpose.
At the end of the corridor stood a large iron door etched with ancient runes.
Beyond it was the place Surganah had so carefully prepared—a place meant to seal Jeun’s fate. A final test disguised as a ritual. A ceremony soaked in deception.
The door creaked open.
The chamber inside glowed with a soft red hue, as if the walls themselves were alive with embers.
In the center of the room, a wide stone bed sat beneath a symbol of twisted dominance carved into the ceiling.
Upon that bed, the girl waited—naked, trembling, her eyes wide with fear. She was young, beautiful, and entirely unaware of the larger war surrounding her.
Jeun’s jaw clenched. He could feel his pulse in his ears.
Surganah stepped into the room and turned to him, his expression twisted with delight and authority.
“It is time,” he said, voice like the hiss of a blade. “Become the man you were born to be. And I will bear witness.”
Jeun said nothing.
