She was almost at the bottom of the pool and was about taking her last breath when a black shadow wrapped itself around her body and pulled her out of the pool.
Hardin was standing next to the pool , his right hand was raised up in the air , black smoke were coming out of his hand.
Flora eyelids fled open when she felt the cold breeze blew on her skin.
Her eyes widen, and her heart started to beat fast when she felt her body flowing towards Hardin.
Hardin careful dropped her on the floor right next to him , the black shadows wrapped around her , left her body and went into Hardin’s body back.
Flora was afraid at the moment , not only because Hardin used Mysterious power to pull her out but because he caught her trying to commit suicide.
She slowly raised her head up to look at him , Hardin was looking really angry at the moment.
“So you really wanted to take your life ?! ” Hardin asked and she gulped down nervously before opening her mouth to speak.
“Isn’t it better to die than become a evil villain in you and Sofina’s love story ? ” Flora asked with tears rolling down her face.
Hardin bent down and took her shoe off the book then picked up the book , he opened it and started reading what was written on it.

“You are just like the way you were in your past life clingy and thoughtless ” Hardin muttered and dropped her book beside her.
Flora frown not understanding what Hardin was talking about.
“Me and you will never be Destined together Flora not in this life non in the next one , You did this one thousand years ago , you committed suicide by poisoning yourself cause I didn’t chose you , what you wrote here is the exact thing you wrote a thousand years ago , should we can it a coincident or what ? ”
Hardin Sighed then stood up , standing upright , looking at Flora who was still sitting on the floor .
“Learn to let go Flora ” He said and made to walk pass her , she held the sleeve of his shirt, stopping him from leaving.
“What are you ? ” Flora asked and Hardin smirked.
“The Devil, Flora ” he muttered then disappeared with a smirk on his face.
Flora was Startled but for some reason she wasn’t afraid , she wiped the tears off her face.
The word Hardin said about her taking her life in her pervious life begin bothering her.

NEXT MORNING ~ HERITAGE HOSPITAL
Emory could be seen sitting on the stool that was next to Oliver who was laying motionlessly on the bed , different life support machine were plugged to his body.
Luckily the ambulance got to them last night before it was too late , Oliver was rushed to the hospital and he was operated on.
The operation was a success but he was still unconscious and the doctor said they couldn’t guarantee that he was going to wake up any time soon.
His internal organs got stabbed when he was stabbed.
Emory slept in the hospital last night she didn’t want to make her mom worried so she lied to her that she was going to spend the night with one of her friends.
Oliver parents were also worried when Oliver didn’t show up last night so they called his line this morning , Emory was the one who picked up and she told them Oliver was in the hospital.
“What if his parents get mad at me ? This is all my fault , this wouldn’t have happened if I had quickly close the restaurant ” Emory said in tears.
She covered her face with her hands as she weep bitterly.
Just then the door was pushed opened and a woman and a man ran in , Emory who heard the door opened quickly get up from the stool.
The woman was none other than Mrs Tatiana , Oliver’s mom and the man Mr Ryan.
“My baby ” Mrs Tatiana called with tears gushing out of her eyes, she held Oliver’s left hand that was cold as ice.
Mr Ryan sighed then placed his hand on his wife shoulder trying to console her.
Mrs Tatiana eyes went to Emory who was standing by the other side covered in nothing but guilt.
“Who are you to my son and how did this happened ? Why is my son laying unconscious ? ” Mrs Tatiana asked , tears were still rolling down her cheek.
“I am sorry this is all my fault a man was trying to assault me but your son saved me he got into a fight with the man and got stabbed in the process , I am really sorry ” Emory apologized , bowing her head , her tears were flowing out of her eyes like a waterfall.
She held the edge of her dress Tightly when Mrs Tatiana started coming to her , her high heel made the click click sounds as she walked towards Emory.
Emory was expecting a resounding slap from Mrs Tatiana but instead Mrs Tatiana shocked her by hugging her.
“Are you alright ? ” Mrs Tatiana asked , she broke the hug and held Emory shoulder’s.
“I am alright but Oliver isn’t , he is hurt because of me ” Emory mumbled.
“My Oliver is a strong boy he is going to be fine , I am just grateful and happy that he was able to save you before anything bad happened ” Mrs Tatiana stated with a smile.
Emory was still surprised that Oliver’s mom wasn’t mad at her but instead she was worried about her.
“I am guessing you spent the night here , come with me I saw a cafe not that far away from here let go there and get you something to eat ” She said and held Emory’s hand.
“What about oliver ? ”
“Don’t worry he is going to be fine , I will stay here with him ” Oliver’s dad assured her.
Emory reluctantly agreed and followed Mrs Tatiana to the cafe to get something to eat.

PEARL’S APARTMENT
“I will come and visit you today with a delicious lunch ” Pearl said and Max smiled then pat her hair.
“You don’t have to stress yourself , I will get lunch from the cafeteria in the company ” Max Said and Pearl pouted her lips.
“But I want to please let me , I always enjoy cooking for you ” Pearl said and hugged him.
The door opened and her mom stepped , she sighed then placed her hands on her hips
“You enjoy cooking for him but whenever I ask you to cook for me and your dad you will start complaining ”
“Mom!! ” Pearl yelled as she broke the hug and turned around to face her mom.
“What is it ? I am just stating facts , congratulations by the way Max ” Her mom said then winked at Max before going inside back.
“Thanks mom! ” Max shouted with a smile on his face.
“That woman ” Pearl muttered and shook her head sideways.
“You both always crack me up ” Max said and Pearl smiled then pecked him on the lips.
“You should get going or else you will get to work late ”
“See you later , I love you ” Max said and Pearl turned crimson.
“Just tell him you love him too!! ” Pearl’s mom yelled from inside.
“Mom!! ” Pearl shouted as she blushed harder.
“Bye , I love you too ” She muttered shyly then ran inside.
“Cutie ” Max muttered and smiled before walking away from her door step.
He had barely walked that far away when his phone started ringing.
He took it out only to see it was an unknown number calling him.
He swiped green then placed his phone beside his ear.
Hello ?… Max
Hi , please am I speaking with Mr Max ? I am Juliet’s mom the woman you help the other day …. Juliet’s mom
Oh , how are you doing ma ?… Max
I am fine , I lost your card the day you gave it to me and I happened to find it today , if you don’t mind can we meet ?…. Max
Max paused for a minute Wondering why Juliet’s mom wanted to see him.
I have a busy schedule today and might close late form work today , this is your number right ?… Max

Max hanged up then put his phone into his pant pocket.
“I wonder why she wants to see me ” He mumbled then waved down at a oncoming taxi.

DEVIL’S CLAN ~ CHOLE’S GARDEN
Chole was working in her garden , watering her flowers when Jaxon sneaked up behind her.
” Surprise!! ” Jaxon yelled and she jumped up.
“AHH! ” Chole yelled and punched him in the eye.
“Chole! ” Jaxon screamed in pain.
“Jaxon , gosh why would you scare me like that ? Are you trying to give me a heart attack ? ” Chole asked .
“I was just trying to surprise you , gosh I can’t believe you punched me ” Jaxon said and hissed in pain , still covering his eyes with his hand.
“I am sorry I just got scared I didn’t mean to ” Chole mumbled sadly and Jaxon sighed then pat her hair.
“It okay I forgive you now stop looking sad I got something for you ” Jaxon said and brought out two ticket from his pocket.
“Omg isn’t this the haunted park ticket , how did you get it ? I heard it cost a fortune ” Chole said , staring at the Ticket with excitement.
“It wasn’t easy but I got it cause you had been telling me you have always dreamed of going there ” Jaxon said and chole smiled then hugged him.
“Awwn you are so sweet ” Chole said and he smiled.
“But you only got two tickets, what about the bodyguards ? You know my brother won’t let me leave without the bodyguards ”
“I couldn’t get tickets for the bodyguard , we are going to sneak out of the clan ”
“Jaxon that dangerous my brother might get angry , trust me you don’t want to see his wrath ” Chole said , Jaxon took her hands and held it .
“He won’t get angry cause he is never going to find out ” Jaxon said and Chole sighed , she had been longing to check out the haunted park and this was her only chance.
“Ok fine I will go ” Chole said and Jaxon smiled.
Unknown to them , Virus was hiding , eavesdropping on their conversation.
“Sneaking out huh ? Let see if lord Hardin will be happy about this ” Virus said and smirked before she ran away.

Sofina stepped into her room with a tray in her hands on the tray was a bowl of brown soup.
She still smiled and placed it on the table, she walked towards the bed where Hardin was still sleeping peacefully.
“He is so handsome when he is asleep ” She thought inwardly and stroked his hair.
“Looks like someone is falling for my handsome face ” Hardin mumbled.
His eyes were still closed and he had a smile on his face.
“No I am not ” She mumbled and Hardin scoffed before opening his eyes.
“Are you sure ? cause I just heard you say , He is so handsome when he is asleep ” Hardin said and grinned.
“You read my mind?! I am beginning to suspect that you Don’t always block it as you said ”
“I always do , I was just curious to know what was going on in that small head of yours when you were staring at me ” Hardin said .
“You could see me staring at you with your eyes closed ? ”
“No I can feel it ” Hardin said and Sofina gasped a little.
“Wow your powers are super cool , what else can you do ? ” Sofina asked curiously.
“I can also see through clothes ”
“I don’t believe you ” Sofina said and he chuckled.
“You are putting on a red sexy bra with a red lace panties ” Hardin said and Sofina’s eyes widen.
“Hey! You are being a pervert! ” She yelled and Frowned at him.
“I am just saying what my woman is wearing underneath her dress ”
Sofina blushed madly when he called her his woman.
“Gosh stop it , I brought breakfast for you ” She mumbled and walked towards the table.
She carried the bowl of soup and walked back to Hardin who was now sitting upright on the bed.
“Breakfast in bed , how romantic ” Hardin said then collected the tray from her , he placed it on his lap and picked up the spoon.
“Be careful it hot ” Sofina said when he scooped up a spoon from the bowl of brown soup.
He blew air to it with his mouth , then took it into his mouth.
Hardin immediately spat out the soup , frowning with disgust.
“Have the maid’s lost their touch ? They can’t cook properly anymore!! I will have sky sack them this is an abomination!! ” Hardin yelled , wiping his lips with his hand.
He noticed Sofina was silent so he looked at her.
“Is something wrong ? ” He asked when he noticed her sad expression.
“I was the one who made the food ” Sofina mumbled and Hardin’s eyes widen.
“F**k I messed up!! ” Hardin yelled inwardly when Sofina suddenly burst into tears…….
