I got home to meet the house empty.

Where is everyone.
I couldn’t find Skylar and Maya in school after closing.

I thought they might have gotten home.

“Skylar, Maya, uncle Noah!” I called but got no response.

I dropped my back pack and undressed, l took a quick bath and wore my maids uniform.

Today the prime minister will be having a party, l will be among those to serve the guest.

Same with Skylar and Maya but there are no where to be found.

I packed my hair in ponytail and made to live the house when the door burst open.

Skylar, Maya and uncle Noah came in.

They have marks all over there body.

Who dare to do this to my uncle Noah?

“Uncle what happened to you, Skylar Maya, what happened, why are you injured, who did this? l half yelled and Maya started to cry.

“You caused it, we came home early so we could tell Uncle Noah to plead with the state perspector to you let off from going to the treasure hunt,and we ended up being beaten severely and treated like trash.”

“What were you thinking?why will you go to the state perspector for fk sake, and who told you to tell Uncle Noah about it?l have made up my mind, l will go to the treasure hunt.”

“Clarissa, have you gone insane? I will go beg the prime minister to help me talk to the state perspector to let you off.”

“Uncle why do you think, the prime minister or the state perspector will listen to us, we are the lowest slave, we mean nothing in there eyes, l was careless so l got myself in this mess , l will go the treasure hunt.”

“And please uncle Noah, l hate to see you get hurt because of me, in the future,am going to take revenge for what happened today.”

“Clary, you can’t come out from the treasure hunt alive, remembered what happened to me, l was unconscious for 10days and severely injured,with your level in marital art, you are going to die before the hunt starts.”
