Mr. Carson entered the bathroom for a shower one minute ago, and Tate is in bed, awaiting his arrival so they could go to bed together.

She has a photo book with her, and as she opened the pages, she smiles.

It contains childhood pictures of Emory, right from when she was still in diapers, toothless and so cute.

Her smile widened at every page, but the smile disappeared when she opened the last page where a different picture is

It’s a picture of Emory too, but in the picture, her eyes are bulgy and almost falling from their swollen red sockets.

Her lips are swollen too and purple, then her face as a whole is a mess

Swollen as fûck cheeks with bruises and wounds everywhere. Even her chin is pounded.

It’s the picture she snapped after the rape.

Fred didn’t only rape her but gave her a heartless beating.

Tears fell from Tate’s face to the picture, and she wasn’t able to wipe it before her phone buzzed beside her.

It’s a text from a new number, and it read…

The phone fell from Tate to the ground, even the photo book.

She stood fast, her eyes wide as her arms went stiff at her sides.

“Fred” she muttered fearfully.

Omar and Romeo came out of their wards at the same time.

Omar’s hand is still heavily bandaged, and it’s obvious he won’t be able to use that hand for the rest of this year, but he’s smiling.

The fact that North’s body was found in Lizzy’s house made him free.

Lizzy is dead anyways, so the case is closed cos her parents already came for her body.

He grinned, and Romeo scoffed beside him.

“Isn’t this happiness too much?”

“Too much?” Omar faced him.

“I’m free, bro!” He said.

“And what is she doing here?” Romeo replied, looking ahead

Omar faced the direction, and they saw Rain standing there, hands in her coat pocket and a big smile.

“Rain” Omar frowned.

Five minutes later, they were already outside the hospital, by the park.

“We could be a team” Rain said.

“Aren’t you a nerd who’s only concerned about grades?” Romeo said.

“That changed cos now I have someone to kill. Emory and her protector” Rain replied.

“You mean Banks?” Omar said.

“Yeah, you don’t wanna end him too? I saw him slicing your finger at the gazebo and I guess he sliced another one again” Rain said, glancing at Omar’s bandaged hand.

“Why would you want Emory and Banks dead?” Romeo asked.

“It’s personal, I just need you both in my team, and you’ll get whatever you want” Rain replied confidently.

“Well as you can see, my hand is useless” Omar replied.

“Doesn’t matter” Rain shrugged.

“And I have no business with Emory and Banks. I only wanna end Rebekah” Romeo said.

“Good. So…is it safe to say we’re the remaining Titans?” Rain smiled.

“You sound confident. Is there someone backing you up?” Romeo asked.

“Yeah…a big someone” Rain said.
