THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 1 – 10

Just then, one of the seniors caught his eye. She had bright red hair, and her eyes sparkled with amusement as she smiled at him.

“Who’s that?” Kaiden asked Ryder

Ryder followed his gaze. “That’s Senior Benedicta, Maledicta’s twin sister. I mean, the girl who brought you here.” He said.

Kaiden’s eyes widened in surprise. “Why isn’t she here, then?” he asked, looking around the room.

Ryder shrugged. “Senior Maledicta will never eat with others. She likes doing everything alone.” He said.

Just then, the doors to the dining hall burst open, and Maledicta strode in, her eyes fixed on some point across the room.

The students gasped, their faces shocked. Kaiden’s eyes widened in surprise as Maledicta made her way to the senior table.

“Morning senior” Arachne called excitedly from her sit but Maledicta didn’t even spare her a glance.

“I need to talk to her,” Kaiden said, standing up from his seat.

Ryder tried to stop him, but Kaiden was already halfway across the room, his eyes fixed on Maledicta.

As he approached her,The students were watching, their faces curious.

Maledicta’s eyes were fixed on the senior table, But before she could reach her destination, Kaiden grabbed her arm, spinning her around to face him.

“We need to talk,” he said, his voice low and serious.

Maledicta’s eyes flashed with anger.

“What did I say about holding me without my permission?” she spat, her voice venomous.

“Let me go now before you regret it.” He added.

Kaiden’s grip on her arm didn’t waver. “I’m not letting you go until you explain some things to me,” he snapped back.

The students around them gasped, their faces shocked by Kaiden’s boldness. Cassius was glaring at Kaiden, his eyes narrowed in anger, while Belladonna had a smirk on her face, clearly enjoying the drama.

Maledicta tried to shake off Kaiden’s grip, but he held tight, his fingers digging into her skin. She tried to use her powers to make him release her, but to her shock, nothing happened.

Kaiden didn’t even flinch, his eyes never leaving hers.

“Quit being stubborn, you’re not even that strong,” he said, his voice dripping with contempt.

And with that, he swooped down and picked Maledicta up, carrying her in bridal style as he strode out of the cafeteria. Maledicta struggled and kicked, but Kaiden’s grip was like a vice, holding her in place.

The students watched in stunned silence as Kaiden carried Maledicta out of the cafeteria, their mouths hanging open in shock.
