THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 1 – 10

The snakes that had been approaching the figure suddenly burst into flames, their ashes drifting to the groung.

“How dare you came into my place without my permission” Epusa yelled angrily. Maledicta ignored Epusa’s furious gaze and strode towards the cowering figure.

With a swift, deadly motion, she stabbed the figure straight in the chest. And then, just as suddenly, she vanished into thin air.

Epusa’s eyes blazed with fury as she watched her demon melt into a puddle of goo.

“That witch, I will kill her,” she snarled, her voice like a rusty gate.

She knew she had to do something fast and stop the girl before she turn to something else.

Kaiden was still looking around, trying to make sense of the strange and eerie atmosphere that seemed to permeate every corner of the school. He had approached a lot of people, but none of them seemed willing to talk to him. They just ignored him, their eyes gliding past him as if he were invisible.

Just when he was starting to feel like a ghost, someone tapped him on the back. He turned to see a boy with piercing blue eyes and black hair. The boy was smiling, but there was something about his smile that seemed off.

“Hey,” kaiden said with a smile.

“Follow me,” he added, already turning to leave.

Kaiden hesitated for a moment, before following the boy.

“I’m Kaiden, by the way,” Kaiden said, trying to sound friendly.

“Ryder” the boy said.

Ryder muttered something under his breath, but Kaiden couldn’t quite catch it.

“Ryder, please, what is this place?” Kaiden asked, his eyes scanning the strange and unfamiliar surroundings.

A school.”Ryder shrugged. “

Kaiden raised an eyebrow. “That’s true, but it looks kinda strange and I’m getting the creeps.” He said.

Ryder’s smile grew wider, but his eyes seemed to glint with malice. “If it looks so weird, you can just leave. Nobody’s forcing you to stay.” He muttered.

“Wow, you’re so rude. I don’t think you like me too.” Kaiden said.

Ryder’s smile never wavered. “Of course I don’t like you. And to be honest, I don’t think anyone in this place does. We hate humans.” He said plainly.

Kaiden’s eyes widened in shock. “What? Why?” he asked, but Ryder just ignored him and pushed open a door.

“This is your room,” Ryder said, his voice dripping with disdain.

“Have fun. If you need anything, it call my name and I’ll come to you.” He added.

Before Kaiden could respond, Ryder was already out of sight, leaving him staring at the closed door in confusion.

Kaiden shook his head, muttering to himself. “This place is so weird.”

But as he entered the room, he was surprised to see how beautiful it was. The walls were adorned with traditional paintings, and the furniture was intricately carved with strange symbols. The bed looked comfortable, and Kaiden couldn’t resist lying down on it.

As he sank into the soft mattress, he couldn’t help but wonder why he had been brought here by the strange girl. But as he looked around the room, he started to think that maybe staying here wouldn’t be so bad after all. At least here, he wouldn’t have to worry about being hunted by loan sharks and debt collectors.

Kaiden got up and walked over to the wardrobe, which was filled with traditional clothes and shoes. He couldn’t understand how they had prepared all this so quickly.

As he browsed through the clothes, he noticed that they all seemed to be made of high-quality materials, and the designs were intricate and beautiful. Kaiden felt a pang of curiosity. Who were these people, and why were they treating him like royalty? He shrugged it off and went to lay back on the bed.
