THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 11 – 20
Kaiden’s eyes widened in surprise. “Something happened? What is it?” He asked curiously.
“We can talk about it another time,” she said.
“You’re just so different from your sister,” he said, his voice filled with wonder.
“I hear that a lot,” she said, her voice filled with emotion. “But whatever she is, it wasn’t her fault.” Benedicta said.
“I know too,” he said.
“I think I should let you go , You can go and rest in your room.” Benedicta said.
Kaiden nodded ,”Thanks,” he said.
As Benedicta stood up, Kaiden watched her, his eyes drinking in the sight of her. She was so different from Maledicta, so warm and gentle.
“Not everyone is so bad,” Kaiden said to himself, a smile spreading across his face.
He watched until Benedicta was out of sight, before turning to make his way back to his room.
Maybe, just maybe, this place wasn’t so bad after all.

QUEEN EPUSA COVEN
The dark and foreboding atmosphere of the Queen Epusa Coven was palpable, the air thick with malevolent energy. Epusa, the queen herself, stood tall and imposing, her two curved horns gleaming with an otherworldly light.
As a girl entered the center of the coven, Epusa’s face broke into a wide, warm smile. She strode forward, her long black gown billowing behind her, and swept the girl into a tight, crushing hug.
“My daughter,” Epusa exclaimed, her voice dripping with affection.
“It’s been far too long since I’ve seen you. You haven’t changed a bit.” She added with a smile.
“It’s been years, how is the kingdom?” The girl Aka asked.
Epusa laughed, a low, throaty sound. “You trust your mother, don’t you? I can see it in your eyes. You’ve been training hard, I can tell. How is Hell? I hope you’ve been enjoying your time there.” She asked.
Aka smirked, her eyes glinting with a manic light. “You trust me, Mother, Did you get my man yet?” she asked, her voice casual.
“We couldn’t. That girl Maledicta keeps getting in our way.” Epusa said.
Aka’s face darkened, her eyes flashing with anger. “I hear she’s quite powerful, “I’ll go to their school and kill her. Don’t worry, Mother.” She said.
“But you just arrived, Aka. I think you should rest first. That girl isn’t to be underestimated.” Epusa said.
Aka raised an eyebrow, her expression incredulous. “Was I to be underestimated, Mother?” She asked.
Epusa’s smile returned, “No, daughter. Lucifer himself told me how strong you’ve become.” She said.
“Then watch as I bring her head to you, Mother.” Aka said.
And with that, she vanished into thin air, leaving Epusa to smile proudly after her.
“She really is my daughter,” Epusa said to herself, her voice dripping with pride.

“Where have you been all day?” Ryder asked, his eyes narrowing slightly as Kaiden sat down beside him.
“I was in my room.” Kaiden said.
“How are you? I was a little worried about you.” Ryder asked.
“I’m okay, Benedicta healed me.” He said.
Ryder’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Wow, Kaiden, I can’t believe you two are talking.”
Kaiden chuckled, “Yeah, I know. It’s weird.”
Just then, a commotion broke out nearby, with people running. Kaiden’s eyes snapped towards the chaos.
“What’s going on?” he asked Ryder.
“Senior Maledicta must be nearby, they run whenever they see her.” Ryder said.
