THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 11 – 20
Kaiden’s eyes widened in surprise. “Why are they running from her?”
“Because she’s someone to be avoided.” Ryder whisper to him.
As if on cue, Maledicta appeared, her head down and her eyes fixed on the ground. She walked with a quiet confidence, her very presence seeming to command attention.
But as she walked, someone suddenly bumped into her, and Maledicta’s head snapped up, her eyes flashing with anger. The person who had bumped into her gasped in shock, their eyes wide with fear.
“I’m sorry, Senior,” the girl apologized, her voice trembling.
But before she could say another word, she started choking, her hands flying to her neck as she stumbled and fell to the ground.
Kaiden and Ryder watched in horror as Maledicta drew her sword, its blade glinting in the fading light. With one swift, deadly motion, she cut the girl’s head off, her expression unchanging.
Kaiden’s eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling with horror.
“How could she?” he demanded, his voice shaking with anger.
“She must really be in a bad mood. That’s why I told you to avoid her.” Ryder said.
But Kaiden was already standing up, his eyes fixed on Maledicta’s retreating back.
“That’s unfair,i need to talk to her.” He said and started going after him.
Ryder’s eyes widened in alarm. “Are you crazy?” he yelled, grabbing Kaiden’s arm.
But Kaiden shook him off, “I have to do this,” he said, and set off after Maledicta.
Ryder watched him go, his eyes filled with concern. “Kaiden, come back!” he shouted, but Kaiden didn’t listen.

Maledicta’s hand was on the doorknob, ready to enter her room, when she suddenly stopped and turned around. Her eyes narrowed as she saw Kaiden approaching, his face blazing with anger.
“Why did you kill her?” Kaiden demanded.
Maledicta’s expression didn’t change, “You don’t have the right to question me,” she said, her voice cold and detached.
She turned to enter her room, but Kaiden was too quick. He grabbed her arm, spinning her back around to face him.
“She mistakenly bumped into you and apologized, but you killed her instead,You’re so heartless.”Kaiden said, his voice trembling with rage.
Maledicta’s expression didn’t change,”Of course, I am,” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
“What are you going to do about it?” She asked.
Kaiden’s face was red with anger, his eyes blazing with fury. “Wow, just because you’re stronger than others doesn’t mean you can kill them,” he said, his voice rising.
“You’re so wicked, you may think people will fear you because of your…your…powers, but you’re just ruining your own life” he said.
“And You’ll continue to live alone, with no friends, until you die,” Kaiden said, his voice dripping with venom.
“And for the record, I hate you so much.” He said and with that, he turned and stormed off, leaving Maledicta standing alone in the corridor.
For a moment, Maledicta just stood there, her eyes fixed on the spot where Kaiden had disappeared. Then, without thinking, she raised a hand to her cheek and touched something wet.
She stared at her fingers in shock, her eyes widening as she realized that she was crying. Tears were streaming down her face, and she couldn’t seem to stop them.
Maledicta’s eyes were fixed on the tears, her mind reeling with shock. She had never cried before, not even as a child and here she is crying.
