THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 121 – 130

Mistress Morwen shook off the senior student’s grip, her eyes blazing with anger.

“I don’t care. What did you expect me to tell the king about his children? What about the Alpha princes? What should I tell Alpha Ray? The other kids too?” She said.

The senior student tried to reason with her. “You should go to town and explain things to them. We’ll come up with a solution. What can you do to Lucan even if you see him?” She said.

Mistress Morwen’s face twisted with anger. “I’ll tell him to release the innocent kids and take me instead.” She said.

The senior student knew she had to stop Mistress Morwen before she hurt herself. But Mistress Morwen was too fast, launching herself at the shield once again.

This time, she was met with a blast of lightning, which struck her with incredible force. She fell to the ground, her body limp and lifeless.

The senior student rushed to her side, horror etched on her face. A few other students, who had been watching from a distance, rushed over to help.

Together, they carefully lifted Mistress Morwen’s body and carried her to the last carriage. They climbed in, and the carriage took off, soaring into the sky.

As they flew away from the school, the students couldn’t help but look back. The school was empty, void of life, and some of them couldn’t help but cry.

They knew they would never see their school again, at least not until Lucan was defeated. The thought sent a shiver down their spines, and they huddled together, seeking comfort in each other’s presence.

The carriages flew on, carrying the students to safety, but leaving behind a trail of uncertainty and fear.

“Where are they taking us to?” Belladonna scoffed, glaring at the guards ahead, who were just walking like a robot.

“Maybe we’re finally getting killed,” Lilith said, rolling her eyes.

Arachne looked worried. “Don’t say such cruel words, I’m afraid,” she muttered.

As they entered the huge, beautiful garden, they all gasped, their eyes widening in shock. The garden was filled with various flowers, each one more breathtaking than the last.

“When does something like this exist among demons?” Lilith muttered, her eyes scanning the garden.

As they walked further into the garden, they saw the male students already doing some work. One of the guards approached them.

“We want them all watered,” he said, before leaving.

“They’re like talking trees.”Belladonna scoffed.

The guys looked tired, like they’d been working for a while. But Cassius’s face brightened when he saw Belladonna, as if his strength had been refilled.

“Are we supposed to water all of these?” Arachne asked, looking around at the flowers fearfully.

Lilith nodded. “I think so.”

She picked up a container from the ground, and the other girls followed suit. They fetched water from the beautiful waterfall in the garden.

It was only Lilith who could carry the water with ease; Arachne and Belladonna were walking weirdly, struggling to carry the heavy containers.

“Maybe it’s not always good to be a princess,” Lilith muttered, smiling wryly.

Belladonna was busy staring at Cassius, who was working nearby. She accidentally bumped into him, spilling some water on him. He stood up, laughing.

“Sorry,” Belladonna muttered, still staring at him in a daze.

Cassius took some of the water and splashed it on her face. Belladonna immediately closed her eyes, cleaned the water off her face, and then opened her eyes to glare at Cassius playfully.

She dropped the water container and tried to slash at Cassius, but he dodged it easily. The water container hit Thane instead.

Thane smirked and took some water from Lilith’s container, splashing it on her. Lilith immediately poured the remaining water on him.

Arachne smiled and poured water on Ryder, and that’s how the water fight started. The girls fetched water in their containers and started pursuing the boys, splashing water on them.
