Lilith’s expression turned serious, and she looked at Thane with a hint of curiosity.

“Yesterday, you said something,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Thane’s smile faltered, and he looked away, feeling a little embarrassed.

“It was Tan, I don’t know why he said that,” he muttered.

Lilith’s face fell, and she turned to leave. But Thane suddenly perceived a sweet smell coming from her, the same scent he had been dreaming of since his brother found his mate.

He quickly grabbed her arm, a bright smile spreading across his face.

“You’re really my mate, Lilith,” he exclaimed.

Lilith’s eyes widened in surprise, and she looked at Thane with a mixture of confusion and excitement.

“But how is that even possible?” she asked.

“I haven’t even thought of that before.”she added.

Thane’s smile grew wider, and he pulled Lilith into a tight hug.

“Maybe the moon goddess saw our sincerity and decided to grant our wish,” he said, his voice filled with emotion.

Lilith chuckled, and they both hugged each other tightly, feeling a sense of joy and relief wash over them.

“I’m so glad that I’m your mate,” Lilith said, her voice barely above a whisper.

“I couldn’t bear the thought of you having another girl in your arms.” She added silently.

Thane’s heart swelled with emotion, and he gently cleaned Lilith’s tears. He pecked her cheeks, feeling a sense of happiness he had never felt before.

“I’m more glad,” he said, his voice sincere. “Now I can do whatever I have to do with you without feeling any fear. I miss you so much, Lilith – our fights, the way we talk, and everything.”

Lilith’s eyes welled up with tears, and she smiled, feeling a sense of joy and love.

“I miss you too, so much,” she said. “I felt like my heart would break into pieces.”

Thane’s face lit up with a bright smile, and he leaned in to kiss Lilith. She reciprocated immediately, their hearts beating loudly against their ribcages.

“I love you,” Lilith said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Thane’s smile grew wider, and he deepened the kiss. “I love you too,” he said, his voice filled with emotion.

As they kissed, they both forgot about their problems, forgot about the danger that lurked around them. All they could think about was each other, and the love that they shared.

“We will survive this and have a great life together,” Lilith said, her voice filled with determination. “So please, fight for your life.”

Thane’s expression turned serious, “I will,” he said. “And I will also protect you with my life. I won’t allow any harm to come to you again.” He said.

Lilith smiled, feeling relief wash over her. She knew that Thane would do everything in his power to protect her, and she was grateful for that.

As they continued to kiss, they both knew that they would face whatever challenges came their way, together. They were mates, and nothing could ever break that bond.
